Drake and Josh...the only two boys that haven't failed to make me laugh starting at age 12. Nickelodeon blessed us all by playing re-runs long after the show stopped producing new episodes. Our generation started watching this show when we got off the school bus, now we watch it at 3 am in our apartments and dorm rooms. So out of complete respect of this hilarious, quotable show, here's my version of a night out (as told by Josh Nichols, of course).

When your friends show up and you realize it's about to be a lit night.


Three seconds into dancing and you start looking like this...

Then a cute guy walks up and you think to yourself...

The alcohol starts doing its magic and you start confessing weird personal details...

Then of course you drunk text your ex, which never ends well

You're now upset but the only words that come out of your mouth are

So now that everyone thinks you're belligerent, so you turn to food for comfort.


You decide to go home. You take your bra off and get a glimpse of heaven.

Your roommate comes out, sees your condition, and gives you this advice...


The next morning your phone goes off and...

So I guess we can relate to Josh on more than just an awkward level...

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
