Everyone has certain songs or music that they listen to all the time... and if you are anything like me, you listen to them pretty much every single day. But Once in a While, you need something new to add to your playlist.
Timeflies is a band that was formed in October 2010. The duo consists of Rob Resnick and Cal Shapiro. The guys were attendingTufts University when they met in the fall of 2007 at a college party where Cal freestyled over Rob's beat-boxing. They got popular with their YouTube covers ranging from exact song covers to covers with original freestyle rapping included. Their fanbase began with the weekly tradition called "Timeflies Tuesday" on YouTube. They would post covers every Tuesday and also showcase their new music. It has now grown into a phenomenon exceeding 145 million views. The kind of music that Timeflies creates includes elements of hip-hop, pop, electro, R&B, and rap in their music. So if any one of those elements sparks an interest in you... you gotta check em out on Youtube, iTunes, or Spotify.
The minute you start jamming out to Timeflies, it will Detonate your mind. You won't be able to help but Turn It Up louder and louder. Not to mention Timeflies's singer Cal Shapiro is such a Stunner. Whether I'm cleaning my room or getting ready for a party, Everything I Do includes listening to them. When you listen to Timeflies, you very rarely catch yourself taking an Interlude. The music life you lived before getting into Timeflies will Fade off into the past. There are no Shades of Grey when it comes to wondering if they are a great duo to listen to. If you're one of those kinds of people who doesn't venture out with their music tastes... cut that small box you're living in with a Switchblade and take a listen to these guys. Have you been looking for a song that kind of describes that back and forth you're having with your ex? They have just the perfect songs for those Ex Games. I promise you if you take a chance on these guys, it will be so good For You. You may end up jamming out to them Until the Sunrise
And as soon as you wake back up, you'll click their music and Start It Up Again. All We Got is Time, so why not spend your time checking out their sick music? Turn them on at a party... I promise Somebody Gon Get It and feel the beats. If I had a Crystal Ball I would predict that you totally enjoy listening to them when you give them a chance. You will seriously Fall for Rez's sick beats. & when I say you'll fall for them, I mean you will fall All the Way in love with these guys! I've been a fan of these guys for years! I'm honestly afraid I may Swoon when I get to meet them. These are the kind of guys that no matter what you're feeling or whatever Monsters you may be dealing with... their music will just make you feel good. They even have some songs you can jam out to at the gym when you're in your Beast mode. A lot of Timeflies fans could agree that anytime we look at our music looking for something to listen to that is super relatable and good & we see their name... we instantly think, "I Choose U." Every time I see these guys on XM radio I literally yell out HELL Yeah! and for any one out there with an ex named Amy... theres a good song you can dedicate to her :) You could seriously just hop in your car and go for a Ride while you jam out to Timeflies! You've be like Alkaline, searching desperately for a good vibe to jam... and search no further!
If I was to hear their music play in bars I would not be able to help myself but to stand up, Jump & Shake. From their newest album, one of the first songs they released called Undress Rehearsal had me hooked. Maybe you like to drink? You could throw on some Timeflies, pour some Prosecco and just let the music take you away. Some people may be reading this and say I'm a bit Crazy for how hard I would push for people to give them a listen. Truth is... I am Guilty as charged for that. Because WHY NOT? You could even play this at a party, set that roof on fire with this music and Burn It Down. I've had many nights where I have been the biggest Insomniac, so I would just hop onto Youtube and play some of their covers. They'll have you wishing you had a Time Machine so you could go back in time and start listening to them sooner. Even Last Night, I was listening to my playlist mix of their own music plus their covers. I'm not gonna lie, sometimes if my friends are in the car with me and I'm jamming out to these guys & my friends look at me crazy... they just remember that they are Stuck With Me so they embrace it and enjoy the music.Maybe you're the kind of person who has themselves a Booty Call... they have just the perfect song for that as well. There are absolutely No Excuses for you to not just go type them in on youtube and check them out! Your mind may just Runaway and get lost in each song. For some, their music may be NSFW... but what would be the fun if it was safe for work? If you don't give them a quick listen to check them out... then there's Something Wrong with ya! No i'm kidding but seriously guys... whether it's just Gravity or what... I have fallen hard for these guys!
