Netflix has saved my life. When the world is crashing in on me and I'm stressed to the max, I turn on my laptop, go to Netflix, click my favorite show at the time and bam all my worries start melting away.
Every time I'm bored I watch Netflix. When I'm in the mood for a scary movie? Netflix. A romantic movie? Netflix. Need to know something for school? There are a ton of educational documentaries on Netflix! Don't feel like interacting with people? That's okay! Turn all the lights down, get in bed and watch Netflix! Layover/ Flight delayed? Have no fear Netflix is here!
They say laughter is the best medicine but I disagree. In my opinion, Netflix is the best medicine.
It's the most genius technology of our age. No commercials and thousands of movies and shows that are made available to us at the click of a button. Some may call it dangerous because it has the potential to waste time, I, on the other hand, call it amazing.
What a time to be alive am I right people? I can't tell you how many times I was bored or my plans got canceled and I wasn't even mad because I knew I could just "watch my shows" (as my parents like to say) on Netflix instead. People don't go outside anymore and that's okay!! Who needs fresh air, green grass, and social interaction when you can binge watch Grey's Anatomy on Netflix instead!
Don't want to pay a monthly fee? That's alright, Netflix is so popular you are bound to know someone who has a username and password you can borrow. What? That's illegal you say? Really who checks these things? In my opinion, it's a gray area.
Now let's talk about these Netflix originals. I mean gee wiz are real time TV networks even trying anymore? My guess is that the big guys at networks like NBC, TBS, and FX took one look at Stranger Things and threw their hands up in defeat.
I would like to personally thank you Netflix for saving my life. You are always there for me when Hulu and Crackle aren't. Never change and please, please, never leave.
