Stuck at a wedding reception with your nerdy cousin? Just looked at your GPA and you realized you need to marry rich? Here are some great starters to kicking off conversation.

1. Stormcloak or Imperial?

In the Skryim video game, either questline is available to complete. There is total freedom as to which side to choose, and some players feel exceptionally passionate towards one side.

2. What's your favorite Star Trek series?

Choices are the Original Series, The Next Generation, Voyager, Deep Space 9 and Enterprise. The general consensus is the Original Series is best but the best captain is Jean-Luc Picard. However, be prepared for anything.

3. Han Solo shot first.

This one, you have to be prepared for. In the original Star Wars movie A New Hope, Greedo the bounty hunter has his blaster positioned at Han Solo. Han Solo then shoots Greedo from under the table. Then, for the special edition for the trilogy, Greedo shoots at point blank range for no reason. Han Solo then shoots. Finally, the original footage was altered again to show both characters shooting at almost the same time. Greedo still shot first, but Han Solo dodged the shot and fired. The exchange was so fast that it is indicated Han Solo wasn't reacting to the original shot and was already planning on firing.

4. What's your Harry Potter House?

Most of us have at least heard of Gryffindor, the house Harry and his friends were sorted into. This house is recognized for its courage and loyalty. Next is Ravenclaw. These people are noted for their intelligence and resourcefulness. Hufflepuff is for the humble, hardworking and trustworthy but is also associated with taking in any student who do not fit anywhere else. Finally, Slytherin is the house for the ambitious and cunning. People sorted into Slytherin are typically associated with evil, though this is not ALWAYS true.

5. If you had the TARDIS, where and when would you go?

The Tardis is a tool used by The Doctor in the long-running television series. Not only can it travel through time, but also through space. The name itself is an acronym for Time and Relative Dimension in Space. You should also know that The Doctor is a Time Lord. This means he is an alien who can reincarnate as different bodies, therefore he can be portrayed by nearly any actor.

6. DC or Marvel?

Just a quick run down, both are comics companies responsible for superheros. DC: Superman, Wonderwoman, Green Arrow, Batman, the Flash

Marvel: Captain America, X-Men, The Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Spiderman

7. Mac or PC?

Most nerds have a favorite, and they can tell you exactly why it's the best computer choice.

8. Why didn't the Hobbits just take the Eagles to Mordor?

This is a hotly debated topic. Some nerds have an answer ready to go, but some don't. No matter what, they'll know what you're talking about.

9. Have you seen the new Star Wars movie?

Chances are they were there opening night, but might try and convince you that they hated the movie. Some fans are still upset that Disney took over the franchise. If they've seen the movie, who are Rey's parents?

10. Jon Snow

SPOILERS.

Is Jon Snow really dead? And if he's not, how is he coming back to life? Who are his parents, really?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
