Casey Neistat. First of his name. YouTube personality. Filmmaker. Producer. Entrepreneur. Master Vlogger. Inspiration. Influential. Breaker of cameras. Drones. Probably anything in his studio or his home. Rider of boosted boards.
If you did not understand any of what was written above, you are missing out on two massive things: "Game of Thrones" and Casey Neistat.
Let me simplify it for you. Neistat is a filmmaker now turned YouTube Vlogger and entrepreneur. I found him on YouTube around a month ago, and it has changed my life. No, I am not exaggerating. His Vlogs have made a big difference in my life. Vlogs, if you don’t know are Video blogs. A more rudimentary explanation would be people logging their entire days with a camera instead of a diary. And it is pretty big on YouTube right now.
I saw two minutes of Neistat's vlog around 10 months back, and I thought to myself, “Why would someone watch a random person talk into their camera in their studio, about their own life?" So, I turned it off, and went back to playing Fallout. I made a big mistake by not watching Neistat's Vlog. I still get bored when it comes to watching Vlogs, but not Casey Neistat’s.
He has brought many changes in my life by uploading these Vlogs, as for many others. And here are some reasons why you should stop watching Swift V West drama, and indulge into the boosted happiness that this guy brings every day.
He is self-made.
If there is anything attractive about his Vlogs, it is the happiness and purity. And all of it comes from how he struggled to make the person he is today. Neistat will not force random quotes down your throat. There will not be any unnecessary over reactions which will somehow make us happy about life. Instead, he shows what it is like to work hard. He shows how good life can be if a person does not give up. He shows us the difference between a loser and a closer. His story is so inspiring, that a person cannot help but be motivated to achieve what they themselves want. Also, his Vlogs are about being successful and happy in life, not only about film making, even though that is his passion. Watch his video titled, "Draw My Life," for the specific and perfect explanation.
The quality of his videos.
One of the biggest problems with Vlogs are the production quality. They are never interesting and hooky enough for us to hold on. But if you ever watch a Casey Neistat Vlog, you will see how incredibly phenomenal the quality of the final product is; everything from the soundtrack, to the way it is shot, to the editing, is absolutely amazing. All of this includes some impeccable aerial shots from a drone. He definitely knows how to show off a city. His Vlogs are directed in a three-part story way as he explains at point in his first season. And the story-telling is absolutely on point, and never gets boring.
The humor.
It is very hard to be natural and funny. But his Vlogs have so many moments where I busted out laughing. It is just his clever take on life. And because it so honest and un-tampered, it makes people laugh.
His family.
He is married and has two kids. Candice (his wife) is probably one of the best parts of the Vlogs. She is snappy, sarcastic, true, and witty. She compliments him perfectly. I have never said this phrase before, and will never after this, but relationship goals. His son Owen makes me feel like it is okay to eat as much as I want. I feel safe. And last but not the least, Francine. She is probably the most adorable baby on this planet. No kidding.
His weekly segments of “Question and Answers” and “Mail Time” are enjoyable as fu**.
He has taken something so common and simple, and made it extremely fun for the viewers. So fun, that it is often requested by his subscribers.
There are many more reasons, like his studio, his custom glasses, his gold Apple Watch, his construction skills, etc., to watch his Vlogs, but these are the highlights without spoiling anything from the Vlogs. I like him because of his honesty and his capability to inspire people. If you spend even a little bit of time on YouTube, his channel is definitely a place to go. Start with “The Greatest Year of My entire life."
Go and decide if you like his Vlogs or not. If you don’t like them, then try his short movies, like, “Bike Lanes,” "A love story,” or “Snowboarding with the NYPD." Did you ever see the viral video of Aladdin riding his magic carpet around NYC? He was behind that, too.
Casey Neistat has taught me a lot over this last month. Mainly, he has taught me to appreciate life. It is completely safe to say he is NEISTASTIC.
Go watch it. Go. Do. It.
Ciao.
