Have you ever experienced times in your life where you feel like nothing else could possibly go wrong? That you've had your fair share of bad luck?

Everyone has felt this way at some point throughout the course of their life. We sit there wondering why these things would happen to us, and we find ourselves mad at the world. But the greatest thing about these times is the fact that they don't last.

Isn't that the beauty of life? Yet, at the same contradicting time, it's also one of the downsides to life. But why do we need to experience these bad times throughout our life? Why does it feel like the universe has gone against us? We need these times in our life to gain experience, to help us grow as individuals, to gain knowledge, and to become appreciative of the good times.

1. With bad times, comes experience.

Sometimes we need to experience bad times during the course of our lives to lead us to where we need to be, show us who's worth our time, and become better individuals.

2. With bad times, comes us growing as individuals, and gaining knowledge.

You can go through one of the roughest times of your life, but you make it out alive, and sometimes you find your future self being thankful it happened. Sometimes these bad times make us better individuals, make us more aware of the things life can throw at you, and you find yourself gaining knowledge from the experience, that you can take with you for the rest of your life.

3. With bad times, comes appreciation.

Whether you become appreciative of the people in your life, everything this life has given to you, or the appreciation of the bad times. When we experience these rough patches throughout the course of our lives, we become more appreciative of the times without it.

In the end, bad times throughout the course of our lives aren't really our enemy. In the future, you'll find yourself thanking them for happening.
