Nathan Scott Is The Perfect Fictional Character

Nathan Scott. The perfect fictional character. The ideal husband. The reason I'll be naming my first boy Nathan.

Every girl that has watched One Tree Hill wished Nathan Scott was a real person and so that they could marry him. It goes without saying that if you have watched One Tree Hill, you loved Nathan. Everyone loves Nathan. Nathan even appeals to the male audience because I've seen a boy wearing a Nathan Scott jersey before, which proves he is a favorite to both genders.

I believe it started in season one at the boy toy auction when our obsession surfaced. Little Nathan Scott posing shirtless on stage with "boy toy" written across his chest was bound to make every girl swoon. Nathan's sincere and caring side came out in season one when he gave Hayley the bracelet he found in his Cracker Jack box and said the famous line, "Don't say I never gave you anything." Then when he threw rocks at Hayley's window like every perfect scene in a movie, basically confessed his love for her, and kissed her for the first time was a perfect moment in One Tree Hill history. And then the point where he actually said he loved her for the first time in season one had me wishing I was Hayley James and Nathan was saying he loved me.

Another unforgettable moment was when Nathan went to Hayley in the rain and apologized to her and kissed her. In season two, Nathan always believed him and Hayley's marriage would work even though no one else did (she even had second thoughts). Nathan never failed to always promise Hayley that he would always be there for her and always protect her, which in turn made in the picture perfect husband.

Besides the fact that he is a great hubby to Hayley, he also was a great father and basketball player. Nathan was captain of the Tree Hill Ravens and even got his jersey retired and hung up in the gym. Nathan won a basketball championship and then went on to play college basketball and won another championship. Nathan had an accident at the end of seasons four that put him in a wheel chair and he lost his NBA contract, however, he never gave up and eventually returned to the NBA again. Lastly, the father Nathan is to his children makes him the ideal husband. Nathan is always teaching Jaime right from wrong as he is always encouraging Jamie to be the bigger person. There was part in One Tree Hill where Jamie was getting bullied for wearing a cape to school. Nathan then showed up wearing a cape to Jamie's school implying to all the other kids it was the cool thing to do, this especially made my heart melt.

Nathan is truly the perfect man in the fictional One Tree Hill world. So if you haven't found your Nathan Scott yet ladies, keep looking. There's a Nathan Scott out here for all of us, we just have to keep being Hayley James and then he'll come.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
