Nashville has always been known as a central hub for all things music related. People travel in from all over the world to experience the unique culture of the city, but most don't know another thing that Music City does well - food. Nashville is home to hundreds of quirky local joints that will make your taste buds as happy as can be. Being a big fan of ethnic cuisine, I set out to find the ten best taco joints in Nashville and now Taco Tuesday will never be the same.

1. The Local Taco

This little joint is a tiny little slice of heaven. You won't find your usual tacos at this place! They specialize in creating dishes that are new to your palette and something you will definitely want to come back for. The pork tacos are to die for.

2. San Antonio Taco Company

If you love late night tacos, this is your place. SATCO is the perfect spot to drop by after a concert or Preds game. The open deck seating is the perfect place to hangout with friends while enjoying the best queso dip in Nashville.

3. Mas Tacos Por Favor

You might have to work a little harder to find this one, but you will not regret it once you do. Don't be turned away by the line out the door because the fast-working crew will get your food to you quickly.

4. La Hacienda Taqueria

A long-time Nashville staple, this restaurant will not disappoint! The menu contains a wide variety of dishes and is reasonably prices. Pick up some grilled chicken tacos to go just like Obama on his last visit to Nashville

5. Taco Mamacita

Located in Edgehill Village, you cannot miss this place! The eccentric vibe and array of essentials in Mexican cuisine make Taco Mamacita a must-do next time you're in town. Grab a margarita and some Koreon BBQ tacos and enjoy the weather out on the deck.

6. Rosepepper

If you're looking for a fun atmosphere, check out Rosepepper. The food is fabulous and is worth the wait. Take a look at the dessert menu and pick up a sweeter dish to go. Make sure to look at the marquee for a good laugh.

7. Chuy's

Although they are a little more well-known, Chuy's still has some of the best tacos around. The vibrant and colorful venue is sure to put a smile on your face even before they bring the grub out. The fresh corn tortillas make all the difference!
