Nanny Problems (Told By Kids)

Nannies have their problems, but so do the kids with nannies.

Nanny Problems (Told By Kids)

Every nanny has their problems. The kids whine, cry, beg, and throw fits. Nanny diaries and other blogs have described these problems perfectly. But the kids never get to share their side of the story.

Here are the problems of kids with nannies, told by kids with a nanny.

Every kid with nannies have their problems. The nanny makes us do our chores, say no the almost everything, and do not get their hair wet at the pool. These problems are unfixable and hard to deal with, and they are not even our parents!

1. They play on their phones, but don't let us.

Why is it that they get to play on electronics but when ask they say no? I would like to play Temple Run once in awhile.

2. Chores before fun.

Chores are pesky, I wish I did not have to do them. I would much rather play outside than make my bed.

3. They make us hug our siblings after we fight... Ew.

After calling my sibling a pest or I pull my sister's hair, we have to hug and say "I love you" which is disgusting.

4. Always snapchatting pictures of us.

She is always sending pictures and videos of us to her friends, how embarrassing! But I do enjoy playing with those filters.

5. Make us eat fruit when we ask for sweets.

Fruit is not a treat, I want my candy!

6. Cuts off our TV time.

There is a new "Loud House" on and I am missing it for reading time. 30 minutes a day is just not enough.

7. "Running is for outside."

Everything fun is always supposed to be brought outside. I cannot yell, run, or jump without hearing "simmer down."

8. Plan boring activities.

Blah, blah, blah... Clean my fish tank? Is this what you call fun?!

Even with all these problems we still are so thankful for our nannies. They make our summers fun and allow us to see friends, go to the zoo, and create memories. I know that we can sometimes be a lot of work, but we also are a lot of fun... Same goes for her. Keeping a nanny in line can be tiring work but we do our best to have to best summer ever! If you were wondering, yes we did have a wonderful summer we loved every part of it. We did tons of other fun activities that made this summer the best one yet.

- The kids with nannies

Thank you to the family I nannied for this summer and to the kiddos I watch for helping write an article from a different perspective. I was lucky enough to have some great kids to hang out with the past three months and I wouldn't have traded it for the world.

Nannies have their problems, but so do the kids with nannies.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
