Most of the songs I listen to have a certain theme to them depending on the mood I'm in when I listen to them. The majority of the ones I absolutely go for are usually on one end of the spectrum or the other. The end of the spectrum I'm focusing on for this article is songs about love. I went through my phone and picked out 12 love songs that I absolutely do not skip over, no matter how many times I've heard the song.

12. Motley Crue--"Without You"

"Without You" is a song about needing someone; that one special person in your life. The opening line of the second verse states that "without you in my life, I'd slowly wilt and die, but with you by my side, you're the reason I'm alive". This is a true testament to love if I've ever heard one. This song is definitely one of my favorite Motley songs of all time, as well as one of my favorite ballads.

11. Firehouse--"When I Look Into Your Eyes"

I love this song. I didn't know very many Firehouse songs when I stumbled across this gem. Now I'm adamant that this will be the song I either dance to with my husband at my wedding in the future or that this will be the song I sing to him because this song is that amazing. The chorus states: "When I look into your eyes, I can see how much I love you, and it makes me realize, when I look into your eyes, I see all my dreams come true, when I look into your eyes." I mean, what better testament of your love to a significant other is there?

10. Frank Sinatra--"The Way You Look Tonight"

The main story behind this song is that the singer is completely in love with his subject. He loves the girl that he's singing to, and he loves every facet of her, from the way she laughs to the way she looks. He's completely in love with her. I would love to have someone write something like this for me; detailing everything he loves about me from start to finish.

9. Juliet Simms featuring Andy Biersack--"Not Broken Yet"

This song was written especially for Andy from Juliet. It's a testament to how much they love each other, and it's so amazing because they're married to each other now. This song never fails to make me smile.

8. Extreme--"More Than Words"

This song is more about showing how much you love someone more than saying it. Anybody can say the words. Hell, people say the words to each other every day, and most don't even mean it. It's easy to say "I love you" and not mean it. But to show someone that you love them...That takes more courage and guts than just saying the words, and it means so much more. The old saying stands: Actions speak louder than words.

7. Elvis Presley--"Love Me Tender"

Let's be fair. I could have gone with almost any Elvis song, and it would have fit this category. This is one of my favorites. It's short, sweet and to the point. "Love me tender, love me true."

6. Savage Garden--"I Knew I Loved You"

This is more talking about love at first sight than love after getting to know someone for a long time. "I knew I loved you before I met you." Love at first sight isn't always perfect, but it's a start.

5. Warrant--"Heaven"

This song talks about not caring if anyone else thinks you're perfect as long as you're perfect in just one person's eyes. True love is the closest feeling to Heaven and bliss that we'll get on this planet, and this song reminds us of that.

4. KISS--"Forever"

This song is perfect in every way. It's a testimony of loving someone, a confession from the singer to this girl he loves. He confesses that he'll love her for the rest of his life, and that's something I've always wanted someone to say to me. It's even more perfect because this is the song that Andy and Juliet picked for their first dance together as a married couple, and the video of the two of them dancing to it that they posted on their Instagram profiles is absolutely perfect.

3. Journey--"Faithfully"

This song is one of my favorite Journey songs, and it's a testament to being on the road and trying to keep a relationship going. The singer knows that keeping up the relationship with his lover and resisting the temptations that the road has to offer is going to be difficult, but he strives to stay faithful to her, pledging that he'll be "forever [hers] faithfully."

2. Christina Perri--"Arms"

This song is about feeling safe in someone's arms; feeling at home. That feeling is easily one of the most incredible feelings in the world, and, without it, you feel lost and sort of incomplete. Christina Perri talks about how she fell in love with the subject of the song; how she didn't think that the person she's writing about would be the one she fell for. She hopes that he sees her for who she really is and sees through all the walls and barriers she tries to put between them in order to protect herself. She writes "you put your arms around me and I'm home." It's the one place she feels safe.

1. Bryan Adams--"(Everything I Do) I Do It For You"

The song is about being willing to give up everything for the person you love. It's about doing everything for that one person because you love that person so much. Bryan Adams writes "look into my eyes, you will see what you mean to me." A person's soul is viewed through his eyes. You can tell when a person is lying; whether they mean something or not. "Take me as I am, take my life. I would give it all, I would sacrifice." There's nothing this guy wouldn't do for the girl he loves. That's a love worth having.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
