With the first episode of "The Bachelorette" over, I have some of my favorites picked out already. The other ones are irrelevant (sorry) or have been sent packing by JoJo. If you want to see all the contestants, just head over to ABC's "Bachelorette" website or you know, just watch the episode.
This list is set up by when they appeared onscreen, not by my rank. I'm not saying that the men on this list are "right" for JoJo, but I do feel they will provide competition for the other men and stay on the show for a while. So without further ado, I present the my top nine contestants:
1. Jordan
Jordan is really cute, and there have been some reports that JoJo was talking with him before the show even started, so that gives him a leg up on the competition. The problem is that I don't think Jordan is on the show for the right reasons. As a failed former pro athlete, he could be using this just to increase his publicity. His girlfriends do not have nice things to say about him, but I think JoJo may be falling for him after the steamy kiss they shared.
2. Alex
Alex may be vertically challenged, but he's one of the few men on there that seems genuinely interested in falling in love. He's going to stick around for a while.
3. James S.
I'm 90 percent sure James S. only applied for the show to meet Chris Harrison. He's a "Bachelor" fanboy, and while he may not be right for JoJo, his knowledge of how the show works could be an advantage to stay around for longer.
4. Christian
Christian rode in on a motorcycle, is hella buff, and helps take care of his younger brothers. He's such a sweetheart, so maybe JoJo will open her heart to him.
5. Luke
Paying homage to JoJo's own "Bachelor" entrance, Luke came in riding on a white unicorn. JoJo's face lit up, and ABC has been using the whole "unicorn" thing as publicity, so here's hoping he gets the final rose or stays long enough to become the Bachelor. Luke also has the whole "Southern boy" thing going on that just might be something JoJo wants.
6. Ali
Ali is such a sweetheart. While rest of the boys were trying to "out-man" each other in the house, Ali was playing a song for JoJo on the piano. Love him already.
7. Robby
Robby came with wine. Now, I'm sure there's an endless waterfall of wine at the Bachelor/Bachelorette mansion, but it's always courteous to bring a bottle when you're invited somewhere. I'm sure his future mother in law will appreciate it. As he said, "In true Fletcher family tradition, who needs glasses, right?" Here's looking at you, Mama Fletcher.
8. James Taylor
Singing a song to a girl is pretty high up on the list of corny first impressions, but I'm a sucker for a serenade. I'm sure JoJo will keep his rugged good looks around.
Honorable Mention: Daniel
I don't want Daniel to win this at all, but I would love to see more of his drunken antics. He's basically the Lace of this season, and we need more of it.
