I’m gonna start this off by saying that I really don’t like Facebook. Whether it's looking through a feed polluted by posts from people that I don't actually know, or constant reposts of stale memes that haven't been relevant for two weeks, it all winds up being a pretty unpleasant experience. That being said, the Facebook Messenger feature has proven to be pretty useful when you go to a school like UMM where nobody ever has cellphone service and everyone has to rely on wifi. Though, the usefulness of this feature is not the purpose of this article, but more so what you will find within it.
If you delve deep enough, you will eventually find something magical. Or rather, someone magical. Somebody who understands how you feel at every one of life’s twists and turns. Whether you’re eating pizza or baking a cake, Pusheen the cat emoji has your back.
For this reason, I have compiled a list of the top 10 best Pusheens. Because while every Pusheen exists to serve a very specific purpose, there are some that I hold specially dear to my heart.
5. Noodles Pusheen
To kick off this list, I'm gonna give the number 5 spot to one that makes me very hungry. Though it isn't my favorite Pusheen, it's one that I appreciate. I like to stare at her large, black eyes as she endlessly consumes the noodles. Sometimes I wonder if the noodles will ever end, but they never do. I like endless food.
4. Note-Taking Pusheen
I relate to this one on a personal level. I'm a college student who takes notes. Pusheen can be seen here taking notes.
3. Jamming-Out Pusheen
This Pusheen is one that has provided me inspiration for many years. When I first started to develop my passion for music at the age of 12, this multifaceted little cat looked upon me with those bright eyes and suave bow tie. She gave me the motivation I needed to continue on my daily, several hour practice sessions on the guitar. Eventually Pusheen would teach me what a major 7th chord was, and from that point on, the entire musical world became my oyster.
2. Lazy Pusheen
Stuck, unable to decide what to do or where to go. This is the struggle that this Pusheen represents, and I think everyone can identify with that.
I often find myself sending this emoji when I have homework to finish, or studying to do, or when it's midnight and I'm supposed to have my Odyssey article submitted by now. Whichever one it is, I can count on this Pusheen whenever push comes to shove, and I just don't feel like pushing or shoving.
1. Baker Pusheen
Here we are at the end of the list. And the spot has to go to the very special Baker Pusheen. This was the first Pusheen I ever came across, and from first sight it made me a believer forever. There is a look of determination in the cat's face that just seems brighter than any other. Where the lazy emoji identifies with my struggles, this one gives me the hope and will to go on. Whenever I really don't wanna do something, I just have to think about this cat, still patting out that dough to this day. If she can continue, so can I.
