This year's election is probably the most buzzed about in the whole country. We've currently got Trump, Hillary, and Bernie supporters going at it with each other. Then, there are the Obama supporters who sound like they're dreading November 2016.
I mean, this is Hillary Clinton during the GOP debate!
If I were there, I would be doing the same thing! All three men, Trump, Rubio, and Cruz, were acting like total 5 year olds, with Trump being the spoiled kid who didn't receive his promised double-scooped ice cream. I didn't watch the debate, either Republican nor Democratic because I'm not someone who understands fluent 'Politics.' However, based on the clips of the debate I saw on Facebook, I have no more hope in this year's election. Mostly it's because of Trump and his irritating attitude that his followers absurdly admire. Of course, they would say that Trump is hilarious, speaks his mind, and says what other President's can't say/haven't ever said before. Well, let me (hopefully) open your eyes for you:
Hilarious: If you think that a President is making fun of people who are non-Christians, not White, not rich, has a Mexican background, is funny, I would highly, highly recommend seeking out a therapist. We're not going to endure another Civil Rights period because separating people because of their identity is beyond ridiculous and won't solve anything.
Speaking His Mind: In case this hasn't processed into your brain yet, there's a fine line between speaking your mind and saying rude things. And, no, the fact that Trump is running for President doesn't qualify him to say all those terrible things to American people. If you're going to preach to youth about not making fun of people, then it also applies to Presidents. The leader of America represents America, and there's a whole world also watching this country. If other leaders from other nations see a President, who speaks rudely and doesn't have manners, then there's a high chance of them declining to trade with us. And that'll severely hurt the economy.
Says Things Not Said Before: This ties in with the above, but I'm going to elaborate a bit more here. Presidents can mention things not spoken about before, but that doesn't give them the opportunity to say inappropriate things. And just because Trump is saying all of these horrible things doesn't mean that other Presidents were cowards. The difference between past Presidents and Trump is that one knows the limits while the other has none. There is no qualification on the face of this Earth to make you say rude things about or to other people. We all end up in the ground, so you might as well be polite and keep mean things inside of your head.
Trump isn't going to solve anything. I don't care if a devoted Trump supporter yells "He'll ban Muslims, kick out Mexicans, stop trade with China" at me. His attitude when someone points out the faults within his proposals is enough to show what a huge disaster America will become if his bum is in the White House. (Heaven forbid that that happens!) Trump isn't a challenging person, whatsoever. To be President, you have to be someone who is willing to challenge policies, plans for the economy, the citizens, and everything else in between. Moreover, when Trump is questioned about the plans, you can clearly see how panicked he looks, and it's not rocket science to see that even he knows it's impossible! What does he do instead? Insults other people, in hopes that no one will ever mention the topic ever again. That's not being a President; that's being a child. A leader of any country has to have confidence and has to be challenging. Trump is, with absolute no hesitation, neither one of those qualities.
It's a huge shame that other nations are laughing at us and that members of the Republican Party have to tell Trump to calm down. The fact that Rubio had to tell Trump to count down to 10 to calm is even more embarrassing! Now it makes me wonder if there's a word that is a greater degree of embarrassing because the mentor of the GOP debate ended up calling the two men 'Little Rubio' and 'Big Donald.' What?!
I have no trust anymore with adult America. I'm not even sorry for saying this, like, have fun with your leader. You think Trump will be nice to you? I don't think so, not even in the slightest bit! America doesn't need to wake up from sleep; we need to wake up from sleepwalking in Trump's false words. Now. Before November comes around. As for my opinion on the other candidates, here goes:
-Cruz: Nah. Not even for a joke.
-Rubio: No.
-Clinton: Eh. Maybe if she hadn't lied and said so many ridiculous things, then sure.
-Sanders: It's a bit tough. His words seem very promising, almost like Trump, but minus the ridicule. I'm still in debate with Sanders.
Thanks for reading and pray for America!
