I am a time conscious person. Just ask anyone who knows me. I always arrive about an hour early to my classes, I’m always early to any event I’m invited to, and I’m hardly ever late. I absolutely hate being late. Sometimes I feel like God doesn’t understand my schedule, but in the end I always learn that he is always on time.
1.The Laptop
For some reason, windows computers hate me. They never work whenever I try to use them. My old windows computer was starting to get really bad around the end of my senior year of high school. I was begging my parents for a new computer, and finally they agreed to get me a Macbook when I graduated. My dad mentioned maybe getting it earlier, but as long as I got a Mac I was happy. After a few days of discussing when I would get a mac, my Windows computer started having major issues. The screen turned pink and I ended up having to plug it into the TV just to see what I was doing. Also right around that time, I had a big report to do. I explained to my teacher that my computer might not be useable, and even though she said she’d give me an extension I was still worried. Like I said, I hate being late, and late homework is the worst. Then, out of the blue, my dad said we could go up to the Apple store and get me a Mac. We ended up having to order it, but it still came in time for me to be able to finish my report by the due date. God brought me a laptop right when I needed it, not when I wanted it.
2.The Car
My parents love clutch cars for some reason, but I refused to drive one. The only automatic car that we owned was my dad’s fishing car, an old 03 Honda Element. I learned to drive in that car, and since I needed to drive myself places, it became my car. By the time I got to my second semester of college, the Element started to get a little scary. The breaks would grind, sometimes it wouldn’t start right away, and sometimes I could feel it struggling to get moving. I told my parents and they assured me it would last another few years, but my dad out of the blue one day said he’d get me a new car. About a week later we found a woman selling a really nice Kia Soul (the car of my dreams) for a decent price, so my parents bought it for me. I finally had my own car, and I loved it. My dad went back to driving the Element, and soon after getting my car, the Element just wouldn’t start for him. Now, if the Element isn't running at least once a day, it just won't start. I’m so glad I wasn’t driving it when it decided to break and that I got my car just in time. I still thank God for that.
I don’t believe in coincidence. God has proved Himself to me way too many times, and these two examples really show it. I believe He’s watching out for me, and when I need something, I know he will provide, I just have to be patient.
