Over the past few years, Instagram has taken over social media. Instagram is perfect for expressing who you are, what you do and what’s important to you. Through Instagram, I’ve made friends that I otherwise wouldn’t know existed. From Canada to Europe, Instagram allows people to connect and develop relationships with strangers. As an "Instagrammer", you get to experience life through someone else’s eyes, seeing what they se, and doing what they do. Since I’ve been a member, I’ve found some users who I have grown to consider “friends in my head”, or people that I follow who I just think are super cool. Below is a list of my 6 favorite Instagrammers:

(in no specific order)

1."@blameitonkway"

Meet "TITI", Kway's alter-ego and very crazy and addicting stage personality. Through his Instagram, Kway has established himself as a comedian, and he has 1.9 million followers. Because of his hilarity and Instagram fame, Kway has had the privilege of hanging out with superstars like Rihanna, and over the past weekend he hung out with "Muva" aka Amber Rose.

2. "@svmvnthac"

A finalist on Lifetime's "Project Runway Junior", Samantha has made her mark on the fashion world at the tender age of 16. A Queens native, Samantha said on the show that she is inspired by the city around her and believes that being a risk taker will keep her ahead of the curve.

3. "@tammyhembrow"

Tammy and her adorable family are the definition of “goals”. Before having her first baby, Wolf, Tammy became Instagram famous because of her amazing body, workout regimes and killer butt. During her first pregnancy, and even now into her second, she hasn’t lost her steam and she continues to impress followers with her wardrobe and her ability to still hit the gym and look amazing. Her bounce back is out of this world and followers, like myself, can’t wait to see her second baby, and her post-baby body.

4. "@imxtana"

“Tana” as he cams himself, is a celebrity tattoo artist based out of LA. His portfolio is super impressive and he specializes in roses and portraits. He has 35k followers on Instagram and recently was dating fellow Instagram personality, “@amberlondon”. He seems to be incredibly private about his personal life and rarely posts pictures of anything other than his work and the occasional picture of his adorable son.

5. "@eenahsanairb"

Briana, the founder and creator of “Matte Brand” has literally started from the bottom. When I first started following Briana, years ago, she was only an Instagram model. Now, she has established herself as a successful business owner with Matte Brand and continues to grow her Internet popularity.

6. "@johannaherrstedt"

Because EYEBROWS. The first time I saw Johanna’s profile was on the explore page on Instagram and I was instantly mesmerized by her perfect brows. Johanna is a model as well as a makeup enthusiast, and frequently posts pictures of her many photo shoots. While she loves makeup, she also posts pictures of her face without makeup. She embraces inner beauty as much as she does outer, and encourages people to love themselves.

While these are some of my favorite Instagrammers, there are 298 more that get me just as hype as these do! Go make an Instagram, you wont regret it!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
