My older brother is so much more than just that

The best gift I was ever given in life was you as my brother. God knew that I could not make it through without you.

Thank you for everything you have ever done for me in the past 18 years of my life.

Thank you for always making me laugh. You can always tell when I need cheering up and you always know exactly how to make me laugh. Thank you also for making me laugh so hard that my stomach hurts and I feel like I'm going to pee my pants a little bit (or I do)

Thank you for being my number one supporter. No matter what I am doing whether it is sports, buying a new shirt, picking a career path or anything in between you always support my decisions and help me feel comfortable in what I am choosing.

Thank you for guiding but not driving me through life. You always allow me to be independent and make my own decisions because you see that is important and helps me grow/ You always guide me in giving me advice about my decisions but never make me do anything I choose not to.

Thank you for being a teacher. You have taught me so many life lessons, sports lessons and even a few dumb lessons that I could have gone through life not knowing but thanks to you, I now know them.

Thank you for being my biggest protector. Kindergarten bullies on the playground all the way to mean girls in high school and beyond you are always protecting me and more importantly teaching me how to be resilient in times like those. Most importantly I know that any boy who comes into my life has fear pressed into them knowing if they hurt me you will be at the door within minutes to teach them a lesson. (That is if you don't scare them off before that)

Thank you for being patient with me. You always know when I am taking a wrong turn, when I need alone time or when I am going through a phase. No matter what I am doing you are always so patient with me.
