My First Experience Disney Park Hopping

Four parks in one day means four times the happiness.

On February 21st, 2017, I went Disney park hopping. Recently, I've signed up to become a Disney Annual Passholder and I figured, how else would I celebrate this awesome moment!!? So here is my experience with Disney park hopping.

1st Destination: Epcot

Epcot is my favorite Disney park hands down. Between the ride Soarin' and the World Showcase, Epcot is the best. So to start off the day. my friend and I went to Mexico to grab lunch. We ordered the beef tacos and the empanadas con queso. While I'm not a huge fan of Mexican food, the empanadas were good. However, the tacos were a little spicy. After that, we rode one of my favorite rides in the park: Spaceship Earth. Since I'm not a fan of big rides or large drops, this is is right up my alley. After that, we visited the World Showcase. My favorite country there is Italy, France, and Japan. Finally, we finished up our first park experience with Soarin'. At first, I was very hesitant to go on this ride but now, it is my favorite ride. We even had FastPasses+!

2nd Destination: Animal Kingdom

Next park was the Animal Kingdom. I've never been to the Animal Kingdom (that I can remember), so I was excited to go for the first time. We first started our trip by riding the train. When we got off the train, we walked down a Rafiki's path. Not much to see there, so we headed back to Africa. Of course, I had to be basic and take a few photos by Harambe Market. After that, we made our way to DinoLand. I went on DINOSAUR for the first time and while it was very rocky and scary, it wasn't terrible. I would probably go again if asked. After the ride, we made our way to Kilimanjaro Safaris ride, however, it was closed. I was super disappointed but least there is always next time.

3rd Destination: Hollywood Studios

The third one we tried to conquer that day was Hollywood Studios. Like the Animal Kingdom, I have never been to this park either. While we didn't have a lot of time to conquer this park, we did manage to ride The Great Movie Ride. While the wait took longer than expected, the ride definitely made it worth it. My favorite part was the Wizard of Oz section. After the ride, we made our way to dinner. We ate at Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano. The entree my friend got was super good and mine was, too. Overall, a good experience at Hollywood Studios

4th Destination: Magic Kingdom

Finally, we've made our way to the Magic Kingdom by 9 pm that night. We had FastPasses+ for Buzz Lightyear and apparently, so did one hundred other people. But, we still managed to get on the ride. I was the 3rd highest class you can rank, while my friend, maxed out. After Buzz, we headed to it's a small world. I love that ride and I have loved it for as long as I can remember. My Mom always tells me stories about how we rode it a million times. We then made our way to the Haunted Mansion. I was hesitant about riding this ride when I first did, but now, it's one of my favorites. Finally, we ended our night with one more round of Buzz Lightyear. I ended up finishing a lot better than the first time and my friend, unfortunately, did not max out that time.

Overall, I had a great time visiting all for parking in a matter of twelve hours. I love going to Disney and if you're not a pass holder, I suggest you become one. Definitely worth every penny!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
