My Dad, My Everyday Valentine: 14 Reasons To Tell Your Dad You Love Him
Wordless Wednesday- Father and Child

If your father is anything like mine, I would say you are pretty lucky.

Not only is he hilarious, but he is also one of the most down to earth people I have come to know.

Below are 14 extra reasons to tell your first, and best, Valentine thank you and that you love him today:

14. He may not be the best cook, but his pizza will never be denied. NEVER.

13. He is always there to help out with your car problems… Whether it’s your brakes, engine, oil, or motor… HE IS THERE (and armed and ready with AAA if necessary).

12. He often reminds my brother and me of how proud he is of us.

11. However, he continues to push us to keep improving.

10. Your success is HIS success. (Who doesn’t want bragging rights about their kids?)

9. Even when I am sad, he knows how to make me laugh and put a smile on my face.

8. He works hard and as often as he can in order to help get both kids through school unscathed, which has taught me the importance of work ethic.

7. He is good to my mother. The way he loves her shows me what I deserve to get from a man someday.

6. He never forgets about me whenever he wins at golf (thanks for the extra cash, Dad).

5. He is generous. Between his home, his money, and his time… he is always generous.

4. He has a genuine, kind-heart. His manners are something that everyone should attain.

3. Even when I lose faith in myself, his faith in me remains.

2. He is the most consistent man you will ever meet.

1. No matter what the both of you go through, he will ALWAYS love and cherish you.

Thank you, Dad, for all that you do -- it doesn’t go unnoticed. I love you. Happy Valentine's Day!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
