You are my best friend and the one person who I can always count on to make me smile. Since the day you were born, you have given me only days of joy and happiness. I know that I can come to you with anything.

Being away from you is a lot harder than I ever imagined. I miss hearing SpongeBob play in the morning and getting on your nerves when you're playing Xbox, but the thing that I miss the most when I'm here at college is laughing with you. I miss sitting at the dinner table and talking about our days, watching "Wheel of Fortune." Even though most of the time that we spend together is spent arguing or getting on each others nerves, I know it's all out of love. I know that you'll never admit it, but you miss me too. You are my hero and you are the greatest thing that has ever been brought into my life.

When you were first born I remember that I was so jealous. Maybe I was a little mean because you were a whiny little baby, but you are my favorite person in this whole world and nothing will ever change that. I will never forget the day when you called me after school one day when you got home and you were crying. It was the first day of school and you had had a really rough day. It broke my heart. All that I wanted to do was be there to hug you and I couldn't, so I felt like I was letting you down.

I want you to know that I will always be here. You can have all your little Xbox buddies, teammates, and hopefully a girlfriend one day, but I promise you that I will be here for you forever. No matter how big, small, important, or insignificant it may be, I want to be the first person to know about it. I know that high school isn't the greatest time of your life like all of the old people tell you, but you need to enjoy it. When you look back in a couple years from now you will regret not going big or living it to the fullest. It can be sneaking out and being a teenager or just talking to that one girl who you've always had a crush on. You have to make mistakes and take a couple of chances, but it will all be worth it in the end. Plus, you have a really cool older sister who will cover for you and get you out of any trouble that you're in. I love you and I miss you, loser.
