1. The Connection.
Since day one, my brother and I have been inseparable. Having a single mother, Blair and I had to do a lot of things together and stick together. Every day after school, we would sit and play together while our mom was at work. For us, this time was more than just a pastime. It was our time together to play and be kids before we had to go home and start homework and chores. All the while, we did it together.
2. The Protector.
He may be my "little" brother but he definitely doesn't fit that description anymore. He does not hesitate to cut down anyone who tries to hurt me physically or emotionally. I deem this only fair because as children, I tried to protect him as best I could. He will always be my protector and will always take care of me when I need him. We may be almost two hours away from each other now, but the time or the miles away mean nothing when you have a sibling that means so much to you and would do anything for you.
3. The Goofball.
Many of you know Blair already as the "goofball." He is definitely that. I can't tell you how many countless nights that my family and I have TRIED to sit down and have a meal together but we can't because we're crying from laughing so hard. Most of you know me so you know that nearly anything can make me laugh, but you honestly have not heard or seen anything until you've seen me laugh at something Blair says. Even just a look can get me laughing.
4. The Ease.
I have a really hard tIme talking to people and opening up, but with Blair I have no problem. He won't judge me or tear me down. He helps me through my problems and I can't wait to help him with his... if he ever had any. He's very good at being a really good brother.
5. My Inspiration.
I could not imagine my life without my baby brother. He pushes me to be a better person; not only for myself, but for my family as well. Blair is a true gentleman and someone who I know will treat any woman like the queen she deserves to be treated as. And because I've seen how he treats women, I know that I deserve way more than what I give myself credit for. He inspires me each and every day. I don't think you can ask any more than that from anyone.
