There are a lot of movies to see in. 2016 is still here and the hype is still on. I will be going to share my thoughts and my theories of the movies. Now please note that my opinion maybe different from yours, also possible spoilers. Without a further of due, lets gets started!
This first one of my list is Rouge One: A Star Wars Story. I personally grew up with star wars and my dream is to work on the editing team in Lucas Films. I saw all the trailers for Rouge One and I always have a nerdgasm when watching. I really like how we are going to learn how the Rebel Alliance obtain the plans the Death Star. In the trailer so far we are going to see the "wars" in Star Wars. What I want to see in this film is Darth Vader kill a lot of rebel scum. We never really see Darth Vader's true power and I will like to see why we should be afraid of Darth Vader. My theory that the Rouge One squad will die by a double agent with the rebel alliance. Rouge One: A Star Wars Story will premier on December 16th 2016.
The second one of my list is the Power Rangers Movie. I know what you thinking, this movie is going to suck, because there are kids in spandex and fighting monster with plastic props. When I looked at the trailer my mind completely changed, the trailer shows this is going to be a dark and serious movie with the side of light moments. To be honest power rangers has everything the a main street audience will love to see. Super powers? Check. Giant Robots? Check? Bad Guys? Check! My guess why people say "hell no" to power rangers is because of the writing (Some of the villains wouldn't be scary or treating.), I watched powers rangers in the past and it was when Disney bought Power Rangers back in 2003-2009 and they had good stories, they had awareness of racism in Time Force and slavery in Lost Galaxy! Don't believe me? Go on Netflix right now and you'll see. Seeing a mature film that any age can watch a Power Ranger movie brings a smile on my face because I grew up watching Power Rangers. I will get this every time someone said "Power Rangers is for kids."I hate hearing that. They said that for comic books, not everyone is watching Marvel and DC films. So if this film does good, people will watch Power Ranger without getting judge. My theory is the Rita will use the Green Rangers Power if you look at her costume, it's all green and her staff has a green power coin on it. Will like to see tommy in the first film but I would like to see him more in the second film. The reason why is the Green Ranger is evil then became good and almost destroyed the Power Rangers!! How cool is that?! Also Bryan Cranston is in the film. :) The Power Rangers Movie will primer March 24 2017.
The third of my list is The Pirate of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Ok, I really love this trilogy. If you never watch a Pirate of the Caribbean film, like what are you doing with your life?! Go Watch it!!!! The first film is on Netflix go watch it and come back!! This film will primer May 26, 2017.
The fourth on my list is Spider-man Homecoming: Lets be honest theres a lot of spider-man films. I don't mind a Spiderman film! I just don't want another repeat like the others. Origin story on how peter gets his power and uncle ben dying..again. If we see flash backs that will be absolutely fine. I think the entire world knows about Peter Parkers origin story by heart at this point. What I will like to see is either Venom or Carnage in a after credit scene. If that happens i'm going to scream with happiness. Spider-Man Homecoming will premier on July 7, 2017.
The fifths on my list is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2: I got some much feels with the first film!! This film is a good example of a not so well comic book series being the most talkative subjects because of one film. I really can't wait to see what our favorite galactic out law heroes are doing. Also I really want to see Thanos in action! But we might see that with Avengers Infinity War. But Hopefully we see another infinity Gem and new heroes! The reason why I say that because Avengers Infinity War is going to have a lot of heroes fighting one bad guy. :) Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 premiers May 5, 2017.
My last film that i'm excited to see is KONG: So this a remake of King Kong and the story is a little different, but I like it. The government wants to test out military weapons on skull island, but there on problem KONG doesn't that. So our heroes have to survive skull island with monsters hunting them and one giant gorilla hunting them down as well. This is a cool concept what their going with, I will like to see if they capture kong and bring him to New York like the originals did. Maybe they will do that in a second film maybe?? But I hope we see kong a lot in this film. We know what happened to Godzilla (2014). Godzilla was good but I wish he was there more.
So those are the films that I really can't wait to see! Now what movies that i'm not so excited and might not see.
1. Wonder Women and Justice League: By now someone is like angrily typing on their keyboard saying i'm the worst comic book geek. Hold ON! Before you press enter. Let me explain. If you notice DC has been getting darker but marvel may have their dark moments but have light moments with their characters and we can tell difference between each character. Unlike DC they don't really give out much character development in their movies. I almost fell asleep in Suicide Squad and the jokers wasn't even showed in the movie. The jokers was only there for a couple of scenes and thats it. Also we know about Batman and Superman. The Man of Steel freaking dies in this film!!! Like WHY?!?!?!? He shouldn't have died so early! In the comics the Justice League fight I believe doomsday and Superman makes an honorable sacrifice now I don't think we will see that never! Maybe he might comeback who knows?? Also their order of movies is so unorganized, I wish they the same route how marvel did with their movies. Showing all the heroes first then making this epic team of heroes fighting a common foe but what i'm seeing is random people with super powers that we don't know are fight a bad guy.
2. Beauty and The Beast (Live Action): OK calm your keyboards!! I love Disney and i'm might see this. Disney does a good job with their films because they have important messages, Zootopia is a good example of racism. But they didn't do a good job with Tarzan. The action was awesome and what was weird was all the tribes came together to fight the British people and not fight? They basically left Tarzan doing all the work. Who know maybe this movie will be amazing and my mind will completely changed but lets be honest the lion king live action movie better be good.
