Summer is the time of year when tons of movies come out. It's a convenient time for people to go to the movies since most people aren't in school. With so many great movies coming out this summer, I've narrowed down a list for which movies might be the best to splurge on this summer.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron: This is the second Avengers movie to be released. I personally haven't seen this one yet, but it's been out for a few weeks now. If it's anything like the first one, it'll probably be pretty good because it involves Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man.
Pitch Perfect 2: The highly acclaimed sequel to Pitch Perfect. Again, I haven't seen this movie yet, but I have been looking forward to it ever since I heard that they were making a sequel. Everyone loved the first one, and I've heard that this one is just as good, so I'm hoping this one meets my expectations.
Tomorrowland: Disney's latest movie creation, which seems very interesting and entertaining. It stars George Clooney, Britt Robertson, and Hugh Laurie. The trailers have all been very mysterious, in the hopes to draw curious audiences in.
Aloha: I have a feeling this is going to be the absolute best movie of the summer. It has an incredible cast, including Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, and Rachel McAdams, just to name a few. The trailer for this movie caught my attention the moment I saw it. This romantic comedy has the potential to be the movie of the summer.
Spy: Another comedy starring Melissa McCarthy. For the most part, any movie she stars in is hilarious, so odds are, this one will have you laughing until you cry.
Jurassic World: The perfect movie for everyone who has ever loved the Jurassic Park movies. The special effects and graphics look amazing in the trailers and the story line seems like it'll be very interesting and dynamic.
Minions: The movie we have all been waiting for. We loved the Despicable Me movies, but we loved the adorable little minions even more, so now it's time for them to have the spotlight. This will be a great movie to see this summer, whether it's with your family, on a date, or with a group of friends.
Paper Towns: A book adaptation, which can either be really great or a complete disaster. John Green's “The Fault in Our Stars" was a huge success, so I wouldn't be surprised if this movie did just as well.
