When its summer, there are several times where you'll find yourself doing absolutely nothing but breathing. Breathing leads to thinking and thinking leads to overthinking, especially if you've been experiencing the driest spell in the love department.
Here are six movies that you can live through vicariously, just so you don't feel alone for an hour and a half.
1. "The Big Wedding"
There's family feuds, skinny dipping, and Topher Grace. This movie will make you laugh, but leave you touched.
2. "Love Actually"
I've always loved to connect the dots between different storylines, and this movie is a CLASSIC. It's so interesting to see how every character ends up being connected in some way and to witness some very real rejections and circumstances that circulate around love.
3. "Playing It Cool"
Chris Evans. Chris Evans shirtless. Chris Evans pulling out his best moves to woo the girl of his dreams. What more convincing do you even need?
4. "Begin Again"
While this movie features romance briefly, it has a strong message about real love, which includes loving and finding yourself. Keira Knightley's character is so brave and beautiful and shows that being alone is OK sometimes.
5. "Crazy, Stupid, Love"
Ryan Gosling is in fact, the most swoon-worthy character of all time in this film. It's so heartwarming that at some points, even Steve Carell will be able to steal your heart in this one. Plus, who doesn't ship Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling after "La La Land"?
6. "Bridget Jones' Diary"
This trilogy is so quirky and touching. Girls won't always look like Megan Fox, but this one is for all of the Bridget Jones' of the world. You are more than a Plain Jane and have your own love story waiting for you.
