Some people in the world just aren't big movie watchers.
Believe it or not, some people don't even have Netflix subscriptions (*gasp*).
If you can #relate to one of the above statements, there is a good chance you've been stuck in a conversation about popular movies, given your two cents about how you've never seen movie X or movie Y, and received serious flack for it. As many weird stares and insults you've gotten in those moments, fear not: there are other non-movie watchers who have been in that same situation.
Here is a list of movies we've been cursed out /yelled at/ felt degraded for never seeing.
1. "Bridesmaids"

Supposedly, its one of the greatest female comedies of all time, one not to be missed. Maybe I can watch it as I prepare for my own wedding to ease some tension?
2. "Mean Girls"

Just a heads up, October 3rd or whatever is coming up soon. If you notice anybody freaking out about that date, it's a "Mean Girls" reference
3. "The Breakfast Club"

A quintessential American movie breaking down the barriers of teenage stereotypes. I think J.C. Penny recently ran some
back to school commercials based on "The Breakfast Club," so you know it's a goodie.
4. "Titanic"

Young Leo, just like your peers, does not approve.
5. "The Notebook"

Rumor has it you can't watch this movie without crying.
6. "Breakfast at Tiffany's"

More breakfast! Audrey Hepburn looks beautiful in this film. Plus its a love story, no? Honestly I've never seen it, either, so try
talking to someone who has and knows what its about.
7. "Star Wars"

Although, I have never seen any "Star Wars" movies, I
have been to a "Star Wars"-themed birthday party. So basically the same thing right?
8. Any animated Disney movie

I witnessed a brutal verbal beat-down after a friend of mine confessed she never saw "Frozen."
9. "The Godfather"

Word on the street is that this guy makes offers you can't refuse.
10. "The Goonies"

The Truffle Shuffle. Google it.
11. "Jaws"

You casually mention that you've never watched Jaws. Your movie buff peer is so deeply offended that he or she feels the need to punish you. You are the man. Your peer is the shark.
12. "Elf"

Elf has become a holiday season staple. If, over the years, you haven't seen this movie back in your elementary school classroom, a
family gathering, on TV, or projected on a giant inflatable screen in a public place during
Christmas time, you truly are one of the few.
13. "The Hangover"

Remember those really obnoxious guys you went to
high school with who wouldn't stop yelling the same "Hangover" quotes in the middle of class day-in and day-out? They're probably still doing that, and laughing just as hard.
