Finals season is upon us once again. This is not a drill. However, it's important to keep in mind that while this might be a difficult and fairly stressful time of year, it is also one of joy and excitement as well. Here are some things to remember so the exams and final papers don't bring you down too much.

1. Walk into that exam room with confidence and you'll rock that test.

2. When you finally finish that masterpiece of a final paper....

3. ... and you're the only one who truly understands how amazing you are for doing that.

4. You and the pal you made in class when you turn in that exam you've been dreading.

5. Stay upbeat even when that annoying person in class asks a question when class is ending.

6. When finals are officially over and the only struggle left is to figure out what to pack for break....

7. .... and the inevitable packing of the car.

8. That jam session by yourself on that drive home will make the long ride worth it.

9. You'll finally be able to see your best friends for a whole month and that should be motivation enough.

10. Your bed at home is waiting with open arms for your return.

Remember, the holidays are right around the corner, right after you turn in that last assignment. Don't let your professors seemingly ruthless way of testing your knowledge freak you out. You can handle anything you put your mind to, or at least that's what they say. Happy Finals Season, and may the odds be ever in your favor!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
