Missing family or friends?
Tough break up?
Did you cut part of your finger off?
Did someone eat the last Oreo but keep the container in the pantry?
I won’t say everything is going to be okay. Sometimes we all just need a good cry. Sometimes, we just need to feel—more than just a stereotypical joy—but it is important to feel sadness too.
Music can be a cornerstone to cue the right emotions, to ride the wave of a feeling to shore, get back on your feet, find the equilibrium and paddle back out unto the waters of life.
Here are some of my music recommendations for some of our most basic human feelings! Enjoy! Spoiler alert: all of these songs will be featured at Firefly 2016.
