I have some of my best memories during October as a kid.

Between being a princess four years in a row, jumping in piles of leaves or watching scary movies, it really was the best time. And I feel Lizzie McGuire can accurately represent my childhood excitement for the whole month of October.

1. When It's October 1st

Let the Fall festivities BEGIN!

2. When Everyone Starts To Complain It's Getting Cold

It's October, AKA the best month of the year? What's cold?

3. When You Go Pumpkin Picking And Find The Perfect One

My pumpkin looks better than your pumpkin.

4. When Someone Compliments How Good Your Pumpkin Carving Skills Are

I worked really hard on it and honestly it's just nice of you to notice.

5. When You Start Thinking Of Halloween Costumes

Okay, so none of the DIY costumes this year...

6. When You FINALLY Think Of The Perfect Costume...

It's life changing, honestly.

7. ...And Someone Else Says That's What They're Being

THE HORROR. *ba dum tiss*

8. When Scary Movies Are Finally On TV

Cue the popcorn, blankets and hiding behind someone.

9. Getting Into Your Costume On Halloween Night Like

I've never looked more *insert adjective here*.

10. When Someone Compliments Your Costume

It took me weeks to think of something that wasn't basic.

11. Looking At All The Candy You Got From Trick-Or-Treating Like

Reese's. Reese's. And more Reese's.

12. When Your Parents Told You Not To Eat It All At Once...

"Two pieces per day."

13. ...And Then You Went To Your Room And Ate It All...

TWO PIECES PER DAY? TRY 2 PIECES PER BITE

14. Waking Up To Feel Sick AF

I can never look at another piece of candy again.

15. And Then For All Your Dreams To Come Crashing Down Because..

*Counts down the days till October 1 next year*

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
