Being a big sister is one of my greatest joys. I love my little sister.

Even though she's only two years younger than me, it feels like we're in completely different stages of our lives. It creates a unique experience.

Here are 15 moments only big sisters experience as they watch their little sister grow up:

1. Being proud of her and her accomplishments.

YAS, sista. You got this.

2. Helping her figure out future plans.

"Is that going to make you happy?"

3. Prom.

Senior Prom. Emotional. Beautiful.

4. Heartbreak.

At some point, little sisters get their hearts broken. Big sisters are there to pick up the pieces and put them back together.

5. Stealing clothes.

If your sister is close in age and about the same size, clothes are going to be exchanged. Bottom line.

6. Giving life advice.

We're older and a bit wiser.

7. Bonding over similar experiences.

"I used to go there almost every day!"

8. Cherishing time spent under the same roof.

At some point or another, big sisters begin to realize that it won't be long before our little sister will be living on her own.

9. Being there for her even when she pushes you away.

Especially when a girl is 18, she pushes people away; sometimes it's not even on purpose. I was 18 once, and I know even when I pushed the people who mattered the most away, I still wanted them to be there for me.

Big sisters never waver.

10. Being the ultimate wing-woman.

Girls just wanna have fun, right?

Being a big sister is fun, especially when you have a little sister like mine.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
