Love appears to be an idea that is impossible to put into words, but luckily enough, The Bachelor, an ABC drama, does it for us. Thank you to Olivia Caridi for her actions and all consuming "love" for Ben Higgins, we are taught what love truly means.
1. Ben receives a phone call that a couple family friends were in a fatal plane crash, and was in need of comfort. Olivia, being selfish, pulled aside Ben to do what she could to show her love. By that, she comforted him with the thought of her cankles and how she struggles with her legs. Is that not what you are supposed to do in a time of a need?
2. "Cheers to the fresh mint." Ben, being the kind-hearted man that he is, pulls aside Olivia to cure the dragon breath coming from Olivia, who thought it was endearing. Little did she know, her breath was unbearable. Take note ladies- when a man offers mint, it may be them showing an act of kindness, but there is a good possibility that it is your breath that needs some tender loving care.
3. Olivia does not need an actual conversation with a man to show affection. She knows how to share love through an unspoken language, that only she understands. While Olivia receives a glance across the room as a sign of deep commitment, others see it as a failed attempt to make herself feel more special. Since I made eye contact with classmate, does that mean a ring is on its way?
4. Goodbye Olivia! Saving the best for last, Olivia was given an opportunity that many people in the real world experience- rejection. In the midst of a 2 on 1 date, Olivia pours out her heart and true feelings, which leads to be left on the island alone. Afterall, it wasn't all about her and her unspoken language, but about the number of girls Ben is actually interested in.
