Dear Mom,

First of all, where do I begin? How can I possibly thank you for everything you've done for me while restraining myself to a specific character count?

Throughout my entire life, you have been the strongest example of consistency I know. I never had to question whether or not you'd be there each morning when I woke up, or each night when I went to bed. You never missed a sporting event or school function; you've taught me that while others may come and go, you're not going anywhere.

Every day you exemplify that being yourself is the most important thing you can be. You taught me to never change for someone else and that has stuck in my head for as long as I can remember. You don't need to have brand name clothes or look like a model to find great friends you mesh with.

Though I don't see you as much now that I'm older, I appreciate you more than ever. I appreciate our close relationship and that you're only a phone call away to fix my broken day. I value the time I do get to spend with you when we can laugh and reminisce on the most important memories we share.

Mom, you have laid the framework that shaped me into the person I am today. I could never thank you enough for never giving up on me. I know you will always be there watching out for me and loving me unconditionally.

With love,

Your daughter

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
