5 Traits Of The Mom Friend
Daily

It is agreed among most people that there are different roles in a friend group. Some of the most popular roles being the planner, the drama queen, the joker, and the mom. Each of these roles haves important parts and bring out the best qualities of the other roles. The planner of the group is the one who organizes all of the activities from movie nights to study groups and always makes sure everything goes as planned. The drama queen is the friend that always has some heartbreaking story or trouble in their lives that they don't think they will ever overcome and needs everyone help and attention. The joker relieves tension when things get too serious during an awkward conversation with the drama queen and make sure everyone is always happy. The mom friend is the one to make sure that none of the other friends kill themselves or the others doing something stupid or dangerous and helps the other friends get their life together. The mom friend has many great qualities but these are just a few.

1. Helps You Keep Everything Under Control

She will write out a professional email to your professor asking to meet up and discuss any problems you're having in class. After she does this she pretty much makes an outline of what to say so you don't panic once in your professor's office, She also helps you decide a great study schedule and keeps you motivated to make it through the semester. She wants to make sure you live life to the fullest while also acheiving your goals.

2. She's Honest With You

Sometimes hearing the truth hurts, but the mom doesn't care because she knows you need to hear it. She'll tell you when you need to fix a mistake and help you along the way. She's going to tell you if your idea sounds stupid and dangerous or if it sounds like you're not trying hard enough. She wants you to succeed and is going to make sure you do.

3. You Can Trust Her With Anything

You tell her everything and don't feel like you're being judged or hated. She's the person you trust for advice and always want to talk to. She understands your issues and even if she's not 100% sure of something she shows support in any way possible. She's always there for you and your number one fan.

4. She's Dependable

She's always there to help no matter the problem and you don't even have to ask. She's the one you know will always help in any possible way. Even if she doesn't actually know how to help she tries her best to find something to do. She is always trustworthy and reliable and never question her motives because you know she truly cares.

5. You Always Have Fun

You became friends with her because of your common interests the "mom friend" position was a bonus. You guys know how to relax and enjoy the moment. However, you guys also enjoy going on adventures and trying new things together. She makes every moment great but doesn't let it get outof control. The mom friend keeps everything blanced which is why she's the best. She's always finding ways to make you smile even if it's something simple like bringing you coffee. She's your best friend and your happiness makes her happy.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
