For starters, one of the most evident and beautiful qualities of Gigi Hadid that we all admire is her makeup. From time to time we will see her walking the runways with a bold and powerful look, but on most days and even a lot of her magazine covers, less is more. Gigi likes to keep it simple, and she most always keeps a clean face. You will always see her with mascara, bronzer, a perfect nude lip, and a natural looking glow. I like to call this look the makeup/no makeup look; it's effortless and simple, and a look we all can achieve and keep true to our natural beauty.
Fun fact: She recently stated in an interview with InStyle Australia that her favorite nude lipstick to carry around is Maybelline's “Nude Embrace.”
2. Her Hair
From growing up near the beach, this girl has been a pro of the beachy waves since day one. You can find her day-to-day hair look to be some what careless, and she even prefers second or third day hair over clean hair. She is carefree when it comes to doing her hair and what is better for your hair than keeping it natural — am I right, ladies?
3. Her Style
From less is more, to careless hair, Gigi carries on that theme with her sense of style. When out and about we can spot her wearing the basics. She stated in an interview for InStyle Australia that she loves having basics and going shopping for those staple pieces, something that is going to stand out. She even said she feels sexier when she plays down the look. Gigi sets a good example: you don’t always have to dress to the nines to feel sexy and look the part, too.
Fun Fact: One of her favorite fashion pieces are her Adidas.
4. Her Attitude
With her fame rising, her life has been noticed by the public eye. Every single day we see images and stories of what is going on in her life. Here are a few things that stand out. First off, she has a great group of friends — you may have seen in recent Instagrams pictures of Kendall Jenner and Gigi or even Gigi attending Taylor Swift's many concerts. She is always supporting her friends, and spending time with them when she gets the change. Another reason why we admire her is because she stands up to the haters. It may come to a surprise for many of you, but models get bullied too. She recently shared a post on Instagram pointing out the negativity she has been receiving. In the message she stands up for herself, saying that she is only human and the comments do get to her, but she says she works hard to get where she is, still has room to improve, and that she is confident in herself and the mean comments won't make her change that.
Lastly, Gigi will not change for anyone. She has always been the athletic type of girl and that is what her body type has always resembled. She enjoys boxing to stay in shape but she will not make a drastic change just for a booking or a job.
Gigi Hadid is making her name known around the world. She has walked in many fashion weeks from New York to Paris, graced the cover of Vogue, and even become the face of Guess. She had achieved so many things in such a little time for only being 20 years old. With her name becoming known all eyes are on her, and I must say those eyes are glued. She is true to herself, she rocks the basic look and doesn't try to over do it, and she shows us that less it more. Wear your hair dirty for a few days, or throw on some sneakers to a date. She is a great example of being you who are, and not letting anyone stand in the way of your goals. These are the many things that make us admire Gigi Hadid.
