Last Friday, rapper Logic released a surprise mixtape titled Bobby Tarantino II. He teased the mixtape only two days prior to the release with help from Rick and Morty in a clip where they both argue about which Logic they should listen too… “album Logic” or “mixtape Logic.”
This also happens to be the first track on the mixtape. Logic had been giving signs that something was being brewed up as he released three new bangers back to back. He released “44 More,” “Overnight,” and “Everyday.”
Now fans are able to join in on the debate on “Album Logic” vs “Mixtape Logic.” Many “Day 1” fans have been complaining about the newest “Album Logic” with his release of Everybody. Not that it was a bad album (in my opinion I LOVED it and the message), but it was an album with messages on equality. Which is great of course but it didn’t really show a lot of Logic’s original rapping. That is what many call “Mixtape Logic,” which doesn’t really have messages rather it is filled with “Turn Up” music.

The new surprise project is looking to be a show of appreciation to fans. Logic recently wrote on Twitter...
"I just want to say how much I love you as my fans! Growing with you has been amazing. And you’re why I do this. To create any kind of music I want, from boom bap to the turn up to the radio has been such a blessing! Thanks for letting me be me and supporting me always."
