It's no secret that us millennials have a style and way of our own. We're hard working, creative, motivated, fashion-forward...the list goes on.
So how can a millennial make their wedding the ultimate wedding?
1. Have a statement piece
Bold statement pieces can be done in a variety of ways when it comes to weddings. Perhaps a boxwood wall with the wedding monogram as the ceremony backdrop, or a balloon wall sculpture for a photobooth, or even a confetti drop during the last dance of the night.
2. Open bar
Let's be honest, millennials can party. Friends and family are coming in from all over, they are catching up, and they are enjoying themselves. Have an open bar.
3. Transportation
After saying open bar, please make sure you have transportation! You want you guests to have a great time, but responsibly. Providing them with transportation is the perfect way to accomplish both, and adds a nice touch!
4. A R-E-A-L-L-Y good DJ
Often people don't think about the fact that once the ceremony is over the DJ has full control over the mood of the wedding. They set up the rest of the night during cocktail hour and get your guests in the mood for a good time. I mean who doesn't want a full dance floor all night?
5. Decor
Details. Details. Details. Your guests will notice them. Investing in having amazing centerpieces will really have an impact in, not only, your guests opinions, but in your photos as well.
And, lastly, an extra touch most people overlook.
6. A morning after brunch
Invite those who came from out of town, stayed at the hotel, and were members of the bridal party to a morning after brunch. It's simple, easy, and really thoughtful - a last moment to reflect on the night before guests go back home and before you leave for your honeymoon!
