This election was, to say the least, a crazy one. The results shocked many across the country.

One shocking piece of information that came out post-election was the picture of what the results would be if only millennials had voted:

A bit different, see? So it got me thinking. What are the millennials thinking now?

I asked 100 students on the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno, what they thought of the results of the election. With a twist: I asked them to express their feelings in an emoji.

Here are the results.

11. 2/100

"Like, I know what it is, but it still creeps me out. I want nothing to do with it."

10. 3/100

"I think it's something we need to think about as a group. Everyone right now is thinking for themselves and making rash decisions. We need to pull together and think for the good of America, you know?"

9. 3/100

"What has America come to?"

8. 6/100

"I'm scared. I'm scared for my family, my friends, and myself."

"I don't know how we got here. This election just seems like a nightmare come true. No one really expected Trump to win."

7. 7/100

"I don't know how we got here, but we have to deal with it now."

"I feel like that Everything Is Fine dog."

6. 8/100

"I'm trying to be strong, but I'm finding it so hard not to break down."

5. 9/100

"I can't stop crying. I don't know how we're going to get past this."

4. 9/100

"I feel like this just kind of explains itself. Everything has gone to s***."

3. 12/100

"I'm just disappointed in America."

"I'm really sad that the country has come to this."

2. 14/100

"Yeah, I'm pissed. He's unfair to every social group in America, except for what he belongs to. Rich white males."

1. 15/100

"I've seen more middle fingers this week than I have in my entire life."

"FDT."

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
