Living in a post-everything world has proven to create some difficulties or bring them to the forefront for almost every person in the world (with the exception of a few, do I even have to say who?). If you weren't lucky enough to be born into the upper class of the world, you're probably struggling with a lot of things that your parents and grandparents didn't necessarily have to. It seems like every single day there's a crisis that will affect our generation more and more, and yet having any sort of worry seems completely invalidated by not only Generation X and the Baby Boomers but Millennials who don't understand how much the political and economic world rules each of our lives. So yes, there is a lot to worry about and it may come off as complaints or entitlement but the fact of the matter is that every person (at least in America) is entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and (at least some of) our complaints are merited.

Such as:

Low Minimum Wage - How is the economy expected to boom if the middle class is deteriorating to the point that they can't support themselves? Hello! We are the new middle class, or at least we're going to be and if we can't put any money into the economy it won't be stimulated leading to the rich getting richer and the poor (aka US COLLEGE STUDENTS) getting poorer.

The Middle East - Human Rights violations, terrorism, bombings, nuclear arms, oil, increased aggression, and so much more.

Lack of Transparency in the White House - Trump won't share his tax returns. Everything is 'fake news'. Visitors logs are not being shared publicly. Russia has been mentioned many, many times throughout the short amount of time that Trump has been President. How is one supposed to even attempt to trust their Presidential Administration when it seems so shady? How can I comfortably call myself an American when the 'Ruler of the Free World' uses his liberties to hide information from his citizens?

How hard it is for many people to understand the basic idea of 'equality' - This one speaks for itself.

The Polarization of Parties - Productive policies that have bipartisan support can't get pushed in the legislative branch if decisions of Democrats and Republicans is based on blocking each other from getting what they want.

Fake News/Alternative Facts - How is one supposed to remain a well-informed citizen who cares about their country if everything they read is fake? How does anyone know what is real anymore with issues like the lack of transparency in the White House and the fact that the President vilifies news sources that offer negative views on him? Is any news real?

These are all major worries that all millennials should have and should think about on a daily basis. Every facet of the American political system affects our lives in massive ways and if more people understood that, maybe this list wouldn't exist.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
