Breaking news! Every single outlet for entertainment/celebrity news says Miley Cyrus, 23, and Liam Hemsworth, 26, are officially engaged and have decided to move in together. Was this a shock to you? Me too.
For those of you who care, these two lovebirds were previously engaged back in 2012, but called off the engagement in 2013. They kept quiet about their failed relationship, not releasing many details about what went wrong. They both moved on, seeing other people. Tragic. About that time was when Miley chopped off all of her hair, got into drugs, forgot to wear clothing, and started acting…strange. Visit her Instagram if you don’t know what I mean. I dare you.
Anyway, here is the scoop. Now, two years after the devastating split, they’ve been spotted together in Australia (Liam’s home country) and were showing some major PDA. This had the paparazzi buzzing and dying to know more. So, they did what they do best and snooped until they found out. Miley was chillin’ with Liam’s family at the Falls Music Festival in Byron Bay, and the two were spotted smooching and cuddling. Adorbs.
Sorry guys, there was no big proposal this time around. She just put the gorgeous 3.5 carat ring back on and they both just agreed to be engaged again. Simple as that. I wish it were that easy for the rest of us.
So here’s my take on this situation. Miley is a little coo-coo and Liam is a ridiculously gorgeous, sweet human being. Total opposites. But good for them. Who am I to judge their relationship? I love that they don’t care what people think of them. Love is love. You really can’t help who you fall for, and they embrace that, which is awesome. Now, I don’t personally know them (I wish I did), but I am happy for them. I hope their relationship is the best of both worlds and doesn't end up like a wrecking ball like last time (See what I did there?).
Now will we see Justin and Selena rekindle the fire? The world may never know. Actually, if it does happen, the world will be the first to know because they’re celebrities. But that’s beside the point. Good for Miley and Liam.
