Everybody always says that the middle school years are the worst, but weren't they the glory days? Everything went in the 2000s- early 2010s, and I mean EVERYTHING. There was no such thing as off- trend every single color was in season. Here are a few of my personal favorites.


1. Gachos


This girl here is the epitome of high fashion.

2. Silly Bandz


There was nothing like wearing 20 stretched out pieces of thin, colorful rubber that claimed to be an animal or guitar to make you kewl.

3. Limited Too

Before it was "Justice," Limited Too was the best part of the mall. I can still see the neon and glitter when I shut my eyes.

4. These Gloves

Were we trying to be edgy, stylish, a Disney Diva?? The world will never know.


5. Tank Tops Over Shirts

As far as Disney Divas go, we all know to hail Style Queen Ashley Tisdale. Her outfits may be cringe worthy now, but they were coveted 10 years ago.

7. Middle School Dances

The drama, the dancing, the sick beats. There was nothing like rolling up with your mom to your middle school cafeteria at 7 on a Friday night. Those are times you can't ever get back.

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
