With the ending of Halloween, fall festivities come to a close. With the cold weather and midterms finishing up, here to raise your spirits and motivate you to push through the term is a list of four items covering everything you have to look forward to in the next two months!
1. Cold Weather Fun
Cold weather can seem daunting, but it’s perfect for showing off that new winter wardrobe or winter coat that you bought back in the spring! In addition, with those Black Friday Shopping deals, it also serves as an excuse for you to buy something new for yourself! Don’t forget about those holiday parades, Christmas village downtown, and outdoor ice skating rinks that make for an exciting night out with friends.
2. Let's talk food!
Holidays are right around the corner which means you soon get to stuff your belly with wonderful Thanksgiving home cooked food. In addition, that magical Christmas season brings forth every yummy treat imaginable from cute sugar cookies, to gingerbread men, to candy canes, and Santa-Claus-shaped chocolates! Bored of the pumpkin spice drinks? Not to worry, get ready for peppermint flavored everything! (Plus the cold weather gives you the excuse to not leave the comfort of your own bed and order in!)
3. Movie releases!
With chilly temperatures outside, everyone wants to stay inside resulting in a wide array of movie releases! Grab a friend, reserve your tickets and enjoy a break from reality with the following fantasy flicks. Get ready for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2” release out on November 20th and a month later is the much-anticipated “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” release!
4. The Holiday Season!
With the holiday season comes those much-needed days off of school! You’ll finally have time to catch up with those friends you haven’t seen since mid-terms started. You even get the chance to go home to see your family and see your friends from high school. Christmas music will be playing on the radio, holiday lights and decorations will spice up your town, and with the season of giving comes shopping and presents! Lastly, when you tire of Netflix, ABC’s “25 Days of Christmas” will be on to raise your mood!
