So its 2016, not much has changed.

We smile, go to school; see it’s all ok.

The man on the tv, talks of weather and stocks,

While we bring on the lectures, and much of the talk,

Centered around math, who would have thought.

The numbers are fitting, together like pieces,

Fortunate enough, we have it all easy.

One problem we face, at any given time

Has an operator, mathematician, and everything's fine,

Because we know what to do, plug and chugs what they say,

But how do you do that, on this, a new day?

We are faced today, with exponential growth,

A sign of prosperity, in each and every, both

Subtractions of life, and sometime we add,

But the problem at large is still to be had.

We multiply, and divide, this country in two.

Ravenous vendors, for me and you.

We forget occam’s razor, in favor google

Instead of eliminate, we are frugal

Yet despite the odds, we cannot even

Take account, for what we were given.

A body to love, a neighbor to take.

Some bodies we judge, and others we hate.

But why does it limit, that we not set example,

Instead of irate, and all the mean tackle,

To fish out the judges, who make all the problems

Proliferate, and set the wrong idols,

For we are a people, of steady mind and no wash,

Until the day we stand, it's all the legs we will watch,

No bridging the gap, the hypotenuse,

The sin, and anger, in the small riemann misuse,

Of the american people, we’ve all become

Precociously aware, of what we’ve undone.

Civil liberties, right out the window.

No more integration, it’s all innuendo,

And although our struggles, might seem infinite,

Tomorrow will come and the sun will set.

We are the people, of the U.S. of A.

No president or congress, can say what we say,

That we are a variable, we represent

The indifference, the same, the human constant.

Take a note from math class, we can all solve,

The problems we have, with absolute resolve,

That we will continue, be nice to our neighbors,

To handle our sons, and all misbehaviour

For we do not stand, on the cusp of destruction,

When we the people, own all of the construction
