These are a few of my favorite things.

This past month has been one of flowing creativity. Now more than ever I want to throw myself into the back of a cross country crossover and never look back. I've seen a lot of this month in my thoughts and in my head and it's almost been too insightful, where I can't write down my thoughts fast enough. With that being said, here's a few of them.

The monthly Spotify playlist. This month I've been very in tune with myself. Not that I was lonely, but I was more aware of my feelings at any given moment than ever. This list of songs, rather than being a jumble of random new tunes, more cohesively reflects a story, one that you can listen to.

Deleting social media. Not to be confused with deleting my accounts, but I deleted a couple medias off of my phone for awhile. I am proud to say Instagram and Twitter are still off of my phone, even though I regret to occasionally check them on my laptop. If I have seemed overly active on Facebook or Snapchat recently, this is why. The reason for this semi-drastic relapse is my outward dependency to always be active or caught up on them and on people. The same aggravation grows when people believe that communication stems from social media. If we don't message or talk on the phone, then we are not talking, nor do we have a substance filled relationship. I think it's about time my generation realized that.

Jo Malone Tobacco & Mandarin Fragrance. If you are in the market for a new spring fragrance, or even if you are not, you should smell this perfume as soon as legally possible. Unlike most perfumes, even Jo Malone fragrances, this limited edition line was crafted a little differently. Instead of the more woody, spicy notes being on the bottom, those scents are on the top, and the more fruity and floral flavors are on the bottom. When constructing a series of notes, the order of them can manifest a completely different fragrance, something like this one.

Art museums. I believe most people don't realize how many artistic sites are around them or even within a short drive. Within the past week even, I've been to 2 museums and they have really given me perspective. Even if you simply walk around for 10 minutes are galavant around the premises for hours, you are sure to take away something from it.

Dior Addict Lip Glow (Pink). This stuff has been the key to soft, pillowy lips this past month or two. I will either dab some in the middle of my lips, to give a glowy, plump illusion; or lather it on at night to wake up with awake, moisturized lips.

Lucky charms. Whilst going to visit my friend in Georgia a month or two ago, I didn't exactly have the array of breakfast choices that I usually do. She politely offered any cereal they had out, and I tiredly obliged. Only just remembering that Lucky Charms were my cereal of choice, after being addicted to it for a couple weeks now, I would like to thank her and General Mills for their graces.

Ashwagandha root. Being a stressed college gal, as per usual, I decided to do some research on some healthy and safe alternatives to cope with stress. When I found this vitamin/supplement, it was very easy to just add it to my usual regimen. This super-vitamin can also reduce feelings of anxiety and improve mood/brain health. Hopefully, I'm smarter in 30 days.

Tune in next month for the new new.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. I mean, really, what's the point in entering a relationship with someone if you don't know whether or not you're compatible on a very basic level?

Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
