This one goes out to the strongest woman I know, my mama.
You are my rock, my one mother, and I can't imagine doing life without you.
Thank you for loving me: No matter how nasty I get, or how far away I am, I know that your love is always there for me. I mess up, and I have messed up bad, but you look right past that because your love for me is more important than some dumb thing that I did.
Thank you for supporting me: Whether it's deciding to go to Disney or if I should get back together with an ex-boyfriend you have supported me. You would never stop me from going for my dreams and I really appreciate it. Even through the bad times no matter how deep I get, I know that your support will get me out.
Thanks for the laughs: You are hilarious Mom. Anytime I hear "Uptown Funk" I picture you and me jamming hardcore to it in your minivan and I will hold those memories forever.
Thank you for being my nurse: Whether I have a 101-degree fever or I'm 'cool as a cucumber,' I know that you will be there for me. And I know now, living on my own, that you would drop everything to come take me to the doctor.
Thank you for teaching me: Whether at home or at school, you have taught me lessons that I will carry with me forever. You taught me to love without holding back, to give second chances, and not hate anyone because it takes way too much effort.
Thank you for your honesty: I don't think a day has gone by, even to this day, that you don't tell me to brush my hair because I look like a hobo. And I know, I agree... I just hate brushing my hair. But thank you for your honesty mom. I know every parent is supposed to love their kids and tell them their amazing and beautiful, but when you say it, Mom, I know it's true.
Thank you for your strength: It's not easy taking care of five children by yourself, but you did. And you did it right. We are all so lucky to have you that we may lose sight of it, but we will never forget. All the sacrifices you had to make and all the people you had to defend us from, you didn't have to but you did.
I have never been an easy kid. I got in trouble on a daily basis, I fought, and I was terrible in school but you didn't love me any less. You didn't have to give up your life to make mine better, but I'm so grateful you would do anything for my happiness. I know I say that I will never have kids, but if I can be even 1/4 the mother you are... I'd have a hundred.
