Baylor has the academics that make it a great university and the athletics that give students the “true college experience." But what makes Baylor great?
1. Baylor is friendly
Baylor does community well and its students benefit from it. The campus is a place full of friendly faces, where you're always running into someone you know, but at the same time always meeting someone new.
2. Baylor is beautiful
From Pat Neff Hall's golden roof to McLane Stadium built on the Brazos River, why wouldn't you want to take the scenic route with a campus so picturesque?
3. Baylor will surprise you
I mean, who else keeps two live bears on campus?
4. Baylor has an impact
Not only is Baylor's legacy expanded as it sends alumni out around the world, but Baylor makes an impact right where it is. As Baylor has grown, Waco has grown. Student organizations serve the community through philanthropy. Additionally, the success of football and the creation of Baylor graduates' Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia Silos has brought new businesses and infrastructure to the area.
5. Baylor appreciates traditions
Baylor brags about being a university before Texas became a state. With roots that deep come traditions as well. One of the favorites is the running of the Baylor Line before each home football game, in which every student becomes not only a part of Baylor Tradition, but also the Baylor Legacy.
6. Baylor is dedicated to its beliefs
Remaining dedicated to its Christian roots instead of parting with them, Baylor promotes and stands firm in what it believes. This leads to a caring environment among students, but which also extends to the classroom.
7. Baylor is loved
Sic 'em forever!
