Make Up Artist Uses Hijab to Transform Herself
Queen of Luna/Instagram

This is Saraswati. You might know her better as Queen of Luna.

Saraswati, a Malaysian make up artist, has taken the Internet by storm this week, and for good reason.

The Umbrella Corps artist shot to Instagram fame recently for using her insane makeup skills and her hijab to transform herself into various well-known characters.

From Disney princesses to comic book villains and even celebrities, Queen of Luna as she's known on Instagram, uses her brushes, hijabs, and even a few colored contacts to transform herself from a self-proclaimed super mom of two to the characters of our wildest dreams.

The proud "Disnerd", comic geek, and metal head has a whopping 152,000 Instagram followers and 300 posts as of Saturday, February 27.

In a time when it is hard for many to be openly Muslim without being judged, this Lord of the Rings fan isn't hiding behind her hijab, she's using it as a tool to bravely show her incredible talents.

If you haven't seen her yet, prepare to be blown away. Take a look at some of our favorites.

Here she is as Ariel from Disney's The Little Mermaid, fork and all.

The beauty, or rather Belle, from Disney's Beauty and the Beast

Everyone's favorite side-kick, Tinkerbell from Disney's Peter Pan

And for the younger princesses, Elsa from Disney's Frozen

Saraswati didn't wait for Disney to give her a Muslim princess to look like, she made herself into the ones Disney's already gave her. (Side note: Disney, can you get on this already?)

Check her out as multiple characters from Disney's Alice in Wonderland.

Not into princesses? No problem. Maybe villains are more your speed.

From left, the evil Queen from Snow White, Ursula from The Little Mermaid, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty and Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmatians.

Over Disney? That's fine too. Here she is as multiple characters from Batman.

Top row: Poison Ivy, Batman, Harley Quinn
Middle: Catwoman
Bottom row: Harley Quinn, The Joker, Bane

DC or Marvel? You decide.

Top from left: Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Bat Girl
Bottom from left: Lady Gambit, Storm, Spiderman

And what would any post be with out a Kardashi — er, uh, Jenner?

Saraswati is on the left. Is that a hijab or Kylie Jenner's luscious locks? We can't tell.

The reaction this artist has gotten has been as great as her makeup.

On her Belle picture, Instagram user kat3c wrote "I love love love the way you use different hijab to create the different hair styles and colors!!! SO GREAT!! "

The best part? She takes requests!

Seriously, we can't wait to see more of what this Queen has got up her sleeve, either.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
