Make America Strong Again

The attack in France is one of the many attacks ISIS conducted. There is no other word besides “evil” that can describe what occurred in France last Friday evening. These senseless and evil attacks must be countered immediately.

With the celebration of Veterans week that was upon us recently I felt the need to voice my opinion on the state of the country. America is the greatest country on earth, and it can continue to be. However, we are slowly and surely relinquishing the opportunity to further grow and prosper; instead, we are reactive and not proactive, leaving a lot at risk. There is no longer love for God and country. That may sound overgeneralized, but, to be honest, there is no need to get technical here - use your common sense.

Unfortunately, the United States does not have a current administration that has shown the right leadership to take care of business. This web of disasters listed below does not leave me with much confidence regarding important choices President Obama must continue to make. Although what I have listed below does not solely focus on terrorism or international relations, it still holds strong merit to the position we hold when facing terrorists like ISIS today and the rest of world.

The United States currently has a president who has:

  1. Called ISIS a JV team.
  2. Would not refer to ISIS as a terrorist group.
  3. Did not lower the flag until five days after the Chattanooga shooting.
  4. Declared we are no longer a Christian nation.
  5. Spent more money than all American Presidents combined - there’s a hell of a lot of zeros in that number.
  6. Unconstitutional assaults (cough... James Rosen...).
  7. Operation Fast and Furious… need I say more?
  8. Obamacare.
  9. EPA overreach.
  10. bailed out General Motors and Chrysler.
  11. Exposed the identity of the Navy Seals that conducted the Osama Bin Laden operation.
  12. Lifted sanctions on a dangerous Iran.
  13. Snubbed Benjamin Netanyahu time and time again.
  14. Stopped deportation of illegal aliens who had violated the law.

I could continue, but the list would continue for years upon years. My point in this article is not to entirely bash our president for the sake of bashing a leader I oppose. This article’s purpose is to address a huge problem that our nation and the world is facing today, which is a lack in values, compassion, sovereignty, patriotism, and most importantly the love of God. The Bible was once the book we turned to for guidance and strength. We now are searching endlessly for an answer in man, and that just won’t work.

I am a Christ follower. I believe he died on this earth for all in order for man to become saved and enter the kingdom of heaven. I believe he will come again and it will be a glorious day for those who will enter his presence forever. In John 3:16 it says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” However, when he does come it will also be a very dark time for those who have not chosen to follow Him. I would be remiss to not share the good news that saved my life in this article.

I believe the disregard for Christianity has left America in the dark and a position of helplessness. We are a nation among many that faces troubling times. Unfortunately, what happened in France is on its way here to America. If this country continues to not support Israel and allows anti-Semitism and the continual persecution of Christians verbally and physically, we are revoking the hand of God bringing a world of hell to come upon ourselves.

If you disagree with me, I am very sorry, but this is the mere truth.

ISIS is not a JV team. They are not looking to belong in a society - they are looking to slaughter societies, especially Christians. “Peaceful negotiations” do not exist with these demonic individuals. We must stand with France, protect our boarders, and elect a leader who will protect this nation rather than put it at risk, like our current president has and is continuing to do. Turmoil in the Middle East is in direct relation to how this president has handled affairs overseas in the Middle East.

The possible upcoming leaders like Hillary Clinton would continue the demise of America. In the most recent Democratic debate, Hillary addresses the current situation regarding ISIS saying ISIS “cannot be contained” but must be “defeated.”

Mrs. Clinton was the Secretary of State and directly responsible for the Benghazi fiasco. How does she in any way have ground to stand on?! I will tell you what I am sick of, I am sick of selfish leaders like this woman here. Let me remind you of how much she cares about our military.

Former Navy Seal, Scott Taylor, who is now looking to run for Lieutenant Governor of VA could not have said it better in his most recent book Trust Betrayed,

“Some American politicians feel certain that 'everyone' in the Middle East
'wants freedom,' that Muslims will be charmed by a president whose middle name is Hussein, or that 'engagement' in talks is as valuable to the Iranians as it is to us. But those of us with Special Ops experience know first hand the reality that our adversaries, and even our allies, often hold values quite different from our own with respect to family honor, religious purity, tribal prestige and freedom.”

ALL THE PEOPLE SAID AMEN!

Ask yourself - why do we have a president that does not get along with Israel? Why do we let Putin get the job done? Aren’t we supposed to be the powerhouse in the world? Well I will let you in on the elephant in the room: we gave that up the day we put Barrack Hussein Obama into office.

We need to come back to a nation that wasn’t afraid of offending evil. We need to come back and start standing up for those who have been hushed during this administration. The silence needs to become loud.

“Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.” – Bonhoeffer

But at the end of the day, my God wins the war and Obama and Clinton lose the battle. God bless those fighting and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
