Macklemore is the king of hip-hop! I'm just kidding. Sure, he releases some catchy tunes with some "sick beats," but those aren't what catch my attention. Macklemore is one of the most bizarrely dressed celebrities and I feel as though he goes unnoticed at times. His wild outfits are often overlooked, despite the fact that most of them are more attention-grabbing than his music. I don't think that Macklemore would want his flamboyant dress-code to be ignored any longer, so here is an appreciation of some of his most outrageous outfits. Macklemore, this one goes out to you.
1. This Clashing Ensemble
Is that Batman? No, it's just Macklemore being the silly guy who he is and throwing on his favorite pair of footie pajamas and his lucky fur hat!
2. Luscious Locks And A Super-Cool Choker
Wow, it's so trendy! Chokers are definitely coming back and Macklemore was the first to find out. Not only is he sporting that stylish draping choker, but he tops it off with some beautiful blonde hair. He is truly an inspiration to us all!
3. Actual Lobster
What a gorgeous poncho, Macklemore! It goes perfectly with his frat-boy sneakers. When he put this ensemble on, however, he noticed that something was incomplete. He couldn't leave the house without his gold chains! That was a close one.
4. This Jacket Is Actually Pretty Cool
Honestly, there's really nothing to say about this outfit of his. It's a pretty cool concept, despite the fact that it's still a totally wild move on his part.
5. Every Animal Known To Man
It's a good thing that Macklemore is prepared for a harsh Russian winter! It's unclear if this is faux or real, but, either way, this matching ensemble looks toasty and ridiculous. Also, where is his shirt? On what occasion would one wear an open fur coat without a shirt underneath? I'm not sure that I want to know.
6. He And Ryan Lewis Dress Nothing Alike
Look at Lewis on the right, looking all cute and and smiley. Sure, he's sporting the gold chains that Macklemore wore with his poncho, but they seem to go with the rest of his outfit. Then the gaze shifts to Macklemore with his seafoam green suit and Raccoon scarf. Where does he find these things? I need answers.
7. A Vision In Blue
Seriously, where does he get these outfits? Macklemore looks like a bird ready to take flight and migrate south for the winter. Look at how his tassels glisten on the red carpet! At least he's wearing a shirt this time.
8. King Of The Jungle
Look out, world, here comes the big, bad Mack in his classic jungle attire. This is a classic scene from his "Thrift Shop" music video, which, to be fair, I do enjoy. The slushie in his hand is the true star of the show, though. Which would I rather have, that heavy jacket (under which, again, there is no shirt) or that delicious-looking cherry slushie? Obviously I want the slushie.
9. Finally
Wait, that's not Macklemore.
We've seen them all--from his best looks to his worst, Macklemore never disappoints. He is courageous in his fashion endeavors and always entertaining to look at. However, the world will never understand his obsession with fur.
