Gillette Stadium is home of the New England Patriots and the New England Revolution. The stadium is also home to many concerts that pass through during the year; mainly in the summer. To me, it is the best concert venue I have ever been too. I may be biased because I have seen many concerts at Gillette. Further, I live two miles away from the stadium by road and one mile by woods. And people who live close to the proximity of Gillette often times (most of the time) hear the concert because it is so loud. I have heard Beyonce (she shook my house! That is how loud her concert was when she was here a few years ago), Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift and others.

On Friday, July 15, 2016, Luke Bryan brought his "Kill the Lights" tour to Gillette for two nights. About a month before the concert, my friend asked me if I wanted to go because she knew I liked his music and loved him. I did not hesitate, I said "yes" immediately. And when the day of the concert arrived, I was happy that I had work before because I would not have known what to do with my time if I had to wait all day until the 5:30 start of the concert. The night before the concert, I heard him rehearsing with the band, and his second night at Gillette, I heard him once again. So I ended up hearing him for three nights in a row which was fantastic because I enjoy his music so much.

When the time came for my friend to pick me up (we parked at my other friend's house who actually happened to be going to the concert also with one of her friends) and we walked to the stadium with my other friend. We missed some of Dustin Lynch's performance but did catch a couple of his songs like "Mind Reader." Then we waited for about 30 to 45 minutes for Chris Stapleton to come on stage. My friend and I did not like him that much. He went off the stage after quite a while.

Little Big Town was really great! I enjoyed their set very much. What I liked about this group was that there were four people: two men, and two women but there was not a single lead singer; they all took turns having their moments to shine. The group sang hits like "Boondocks," "Girl Crush," and "Day Drinking" Which were all great, and soon the sun went down and it was a waiting game again until Luke Bryan showed his face.

Bryan showed his face around 9:20ish and the whole crowd starting screaming with joy that he came on after a little bit of waiting. He opened with "Rain is a good Thing" and went right into "Kick the Dust Up" which was great. The countless snap chat stories I created that night was too many to count. He sang his hits like "Drunk on you," "Strip it Down," "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye," "Play it Again" and "Country Girl." All of the songs he played were amazing. He brought out the opening acts again and sand songs with each of them which was cool to see.

Bryan added four more songs to his set list because of the Deflate Gate Scandal, which was very nice of him. Bryan was completely shocked about how hot New England was as he said the heat reminded him of South Florida. He was excited to come to Massachusetts because it is always cool here to him, but nope it was super hot instead. He interacted with the crowd and took shots up on stage, drank beer and even threw some beer out to the crowd.

He ended with "Country Girl" as the finale, and a fireworks display that to me ended up going on and on and on. Overall, I will definitely be seeing him in concert again because he is a great entertainer and singer.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
