Loving A Girl With Trust Issues

It's easier to run but it's worth it to stay.

Loving A Girl With Trust Issues

When it comes to falling in love, it can be complicated; toss in a few trust issues, and it can be impossible. So, to the brave ones who have fallen or are falling in love with a girl who has trust issues, here's a few things you should know.

It really isn't you.

You have probably never given her a reason to not trust you completely, but she still has her guard up right? It's not you. I can't stress that enough.

It might take awhile, but she will eventually let you in.

The walls will become shorter and her heart will become more open, it might just take longer than you had hoped. Don't give up on her, though, she is constantly trying to let you in, but something in her past is reminding her that not all people have her best interest in mind. Give it time.

She's trying.

It's going to be frustrating and you might want to shake her until she admits to trusting in you fully, but just know that she is trying, she really is.

Love her through it.

The absolute best thing that you can do is to love her unconditionally. She probably loves you too much for her own good, and that will only continue to grow. When she pushes you away, hold her closer and remind her that you love her, trust issues and all.

If she has stuck with you this long, there's a reason.

If she had any doubt in her mind that you were no good for her, you wouldn't be with her anymore. She knows the trust will happen, and she is just waiting for the right time to let the past go.

With that being said, don't give up on her. It will happen and you will know when it does. There is a big reason why her reservations exist and they won't go away over night. Love her through it, and she will love you so much more.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
