When You Do Fall, Fall Hard

If you ever have the chance to fall in love, do it. But don’t rush things, what’s meant to be will be.

Being in love is the best and the worst thing that could ever happen to someone. It’s the best feeling you could ever experience but if it ever comes to an end, it’s hands down some of the worst pain you’ll ever experience.

If you asked me a year ago how I felt about being in love, I would say don’t do it, it’ll never work out in the end, you’ll leave the relationship heartbroken. I still stand by these opinions but now I say if you ever have the chance to fall in love, do it, with the right person, that is.

Don’t just fall in love because you want to, do it because the timing is right. The expression “the stars were aligned” should be put in place here, something that is meant to be and effortless will lead to a happy, healthy relationship.

So, if you ever get the chance, take it. I cannot stress enough that it must be in good timing. Timing is everything when it comes to falling in love.

When you do decide to fall in love, fall in love with someone you know that’s going to fall in love with you back, that’s the only restriction I have.

And when you do fall, love with everything in you. Falling in love should be taken seriously by both parties, if it’s meant to be you’ll know.

Do things the right way or it won’t work out. And in the end, it might not work out at all, but I can assure you that while you’re in love you will learn so many things about yourself.

You’ll learn how to love, how to care, and how to put your wants and needs aside to make someone else happy. You’ll learn your boundaries, you’ll find out how far love will take you and how it brings positivity to your life.

Constant butterflies.

That’s literally what it feels like to be in love. Your heart will scream with happiness all hours of the day. You should fall in love because it’s the one thing that I can’t explain. It’s the one thing that makes sense. It’s the one thing that everyone looks for in life.

You will crave the presence of your partner, you will be so caught up in them that you forget about the entire world around you. You will fall in love with their flaws and love them unconditionally, which is the purest, most beautiful form of love.

On the other hand, love is super tricky, because when it's going well, it’s great, but when things get bad, it’s bad.

To ensure a healthy relationship, be mature. Don’t fall in love or let someone fall in love with you if you know you’re not ready for that. Don’t hurt people because you’re too immature to communicate your feelings, because karma is real, and she will come for you.

People in my generation are so afraid of getting hurt and no one wants the responsibility or the commitment. Stop being afraid. And start loving. Be a lover, not a fighter.

And if you’re not looking for a relationship, that’s fine, but that doesn’t mean you can’t love people in general. It’s not a crime to love someone or to be kind.

If you ever have the chance to fall in love, do it. But don’t rush things, what’s meant to be will be. You might just fall in love with your soulmate and live happily ever after.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
