Far too often our generation gets caught up with constantly having to be with someone maybe in fear that if they are alone, they will never be truly happy. I mean take a look around, every time you get on Facebook there is a new person you are friends with that just recently got engaged, married, or is pregnant. Am I right? I think that it seems that way because as we get older the closer we become to that age that people normally start to find someone to be with that they see future potential with because honestly, who wants to waste however many years of their life for it not to go anywhere? I am here to tell you that love is patient. Do not feel rushed to find someone to be with because you are supposed to be enjoying life and all of the wonderful things that God has blessed you with. I firmly believe that when the time is right, He will bless you with a significant other that is perfect for you as well. Someone who compliments you in every way, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. You just have to trust in His Will and have faith that when He sees that it is fit for you He will bless you in every form possible. Do not get discouraged when you see things that are happening for other people but not you yet. God just felt it was their time and He will do the same for you, you just cannot lose hope. But until that day, enjoy being young! Do things that make YOU happy! This is the time to go on adventures with your friends, spend as often as you can with your grandparents, or parents because as painful as it is to say, not every lives forever. Cherish this time to be independent and make your mark in the world. Do not settle for anything less than what you deserve in any aspect in your life. This is the time to find out who you are as a person, what makes you happy, what doesn't, and just the simple things that make you enjoy life. I wholeheartedly believe that when the right one comes along in someone's life, it will be well worth the wait. Patience is key to everything in life and the sooner we all learn this valuable lesson, the happier we all will be. So do not fall into the same rut as other people, embrace being single and living life to the fullest!
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
